NIce work on the house and interior. No idea of the movie though. We watch A Christmas Carol. Good luck with the project.

Looking good. With buffers on the front, it is kind of odd not to have a "hook".

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff
dr_spock replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You can also use the 88000 AAA battery box with AAA or rechargeable AAA batteries for less than the cost of the rechargeable battery box and charger. The Power Function train sets come with the AAA battery box. The rechargeable battery box and charger are not included. The train sets are good value for tracks and other parts.- 578 replies

[MiniChal - COR] Mafia of Charlatan Bay

Nice figs. I like that secret space behind the bookshelf. -
The tires looks about right for aged rubbers. Those were the days when parents let us play with fire and explosives back then. Not sure you can do that kind of play now without someone calling the police on you.

You're 47. The OTD are 50 and older.

Over in Bastion, Bob the butcher is busily preparing meat for his customers. He sells fresh meat, salted meat, and sausages. Fresh meat has to be eaten right away. Salted meat can last a long time and suitable for ocean voyages. His shop is well stocked with barrels of salt and jars of secret spices. Earlier Susie Cheng placed an order of fresh chicken. Freshly slaughtered meat tastes so good. The chicken being chicken has other ideas... Ye Old Butcher Shoppe by dr_spock_888, on Flickr But Bob is faster... Bon appetite.

Power Functions Train Motor Stops by itself
dr_spock replied to provoaggie's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Another thing to check is make sure your train wheels aren't binding up the motor causing it to work harder and overheat. Then the thermal protection kicks in and shut it off. -
What a pretty scary bunch. Collette seems street smart, being thrown out the window is one way to avoid paying the bar tab.

[SR-FB2] Nov '616 - Shrine of Poseidon
dr_spock replied to Kwatchi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Good looking shrine. I see hints of Atlantis and lots of tasty offerings. I suppose you could license it and then use the Adjudication Form to transfer ownership to the winner. -

LDD: Friend or Foe?
dr_spock replied to VaderFan2187's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Foe, that they don't seem to have LEGO Friends minidolls in the palette. Make it a little hard to create LDD entry for the Best Friends contest over at LEGO Rebrick. -
Welcome Trudina. There are many free instructions floating around. Some builders also provide LDD files of their MOCs.

There are rules for signatures in the Site Guidelines on word limits and picture sizes and numbers. It seems the new forum software has automatically double spaced all the lines of text in old signatures. They look bigger than before. You can report users with non-guidelines compliant signatures. Once you blocked a person's signature, his/her signature will not display again to you. If you want to see that person's signature again, you have to go into your Ignored Users settings and unblock their signature. You can also select the ignore all signatures option and not have to deal with a scrolling orgy. Logging on a guest will not display signatures by default.

Very good sea side friendly vacation resort. So much to do and see. Good luck with the contest. Last day for entries appears to be today.
-
You can block all signatures or individual user's signature by clicking on the down arrow by the X to the top right of a user's signature. It drops down an Ignore Signature Preferences menu. You can select ignore all signature or just that user.
