[Software] LDCad - LDraw cad
Alasdair Ryan replied to legolijntje's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Fixed It was the library due to the library being installed,I did try the AlOI version and the same thing happened. You should pack the Ldraw library and just give a option of installing/updating it,SR3D came with its own parts. -

[HELP] Building Gearbox
Alasdair Ryan replied to aminnich's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I suspect you would be best basing or using one of piterx's,splat's or sheepo's gearboxes. For heavy moc's I would use a orbital gearbox but those are not easy to make automatic compared to 'the standard gearbox'. -

Yes,correct they are all there in that dictionary in the cosponsoring folders. Here is a screen shot of me trying to load a basic part. -
[Software] LDCad - LDraw cad
Alasdair Ryan replied to legolijntje's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I wanted to give LDCad a go today, but after installing the newest version and locating the ldraw file I just got a load of incomplete part primitives. I tried tweaking the part bin load dir too with no luck. -

Has any one asked a " Lego ambassador",I did not see any sign of any posts in the Embassy. Using the official channels may be fruitful,I have my self used them in the past and got good results.

[MOC] Tower Crane
Alasdair Ryan replied to Cumulonimbus's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Why don't you try reading the topic first before posting? The AAA / rechargeable battery boxes are very much lighter, yes you would want too move the battery box further back.
