    Thanks for the nice review. I admit I am not a fan of the clone like light coloured minifig face,I much prefer the classic yellow colour. It would be interesting to see if you could motorise the drum using a micro motor and one of the old 9v battery boxes.

    You could connect them to a worm gear casing to get a good pitch,you also have the ability to adjust them very easily.

    I think you should incorporate the steering motor somehow.Do you might find that the steering struggles while going off-road?

    Nice engine,What about making it out of studded lego for the main body.That way you might be able to capture the curves of the body work better.

    Are you going to make a stick configuration for a peel grab?

    The stabilisers look allot like the ones found on the crane truck. The gearbox seams to be very simpler like the one also found on the crane truck.

    Well it would be cool if it does fly,I think those blades need to stick out more though. Are the main blades of the 9396 helicopter the wrong shape?

    It seams that you were not the only person looking at it from the second picture....... Do you have a picture of the front steering doota's?

    Jurgen's is just about the same size as the 8043 so I expect jennifer's to be the same.

    Well in that case it's just for a drive shaft,lots of builders do it.

    And the 24t to the 16t?

    I doubt it. But he might make his own. The gearing also drives the pump which need to go at a certain speed for a good flow of air.
