  1. That uses a servo motor which I don't think he has. You should be able to build the yellow car that DBenders posted above.
  2. If you want a fast car use the 'faster' output shaft of a buggy motor and gear it up a few times.
  3. I counted three functions plus rotation, but feel free to count them your self. Hopefully you can see the video alright.... The design above will not work,to make it work it requires one height retractable drive shaft to power the turntables.
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks,I look forward to sing some of your moc's over in the technic section.
  5. Not quite,You would need two cams linked together but geared differently.
  6. Ok in that case what about having the flex axles or the substitute connected to a series of cams driven from a motor, which starts slow but gets faster at the end which would create a wave affect.
  7. Yeb at Daniel says above flex axles are the best,if you don't have any of those try using axles with 1/2 toggle joints.
  8. Yes but.....look at it. http://storage.technicbricks.com/Media/2011/TBs_20111231_1/TBs_20111231_1u.jpg
  9. The Lego group's,probably the same builder that fitted the motor in the 9395 pick-up.
  10. I am not a fan of the crane design but over all I think it's a great truck with lots of functions.
  11. I need to move the boom back along with the drum to keep the weight balanced. I was thinking of something like this for the back.... I will post a update later tonight.
  12. Could you not use another motor on the same channel as the steering of the truck?
  13. I think the trailer needs to be longer,do you plan on motorizing the steering?
  14. I never know it happened since I was busy building,Good to see you got it fixed. A fellow member over in the technic forum said he had lost his post, this would explain why.
  15. So here is a update on progress, yes I am going to need to make my LA longer ,If you don't have a 12 long steering rack I suggest you order one. The sag you see in the LA will come out one once I make it longer.
  16. So here is the new and improved version of my La..... It is just about the same size as two pneumatic cylinders are joined together.
  17. So after lots of trail and error (mainly error) I have decided to use one of the ideas I had last year for the custom La Info here. Hopfully I can post a better update later today.
  18. Again you can see cranes with just a ssl version,so the counter-weight and hook are just carried by truck.
  19. I was not referring to a crane using super lift.
  20. zzzzzzzzzzzz Why do you have to make stuff sound so boring?
  21. I think the real estate office should be separate to the store (another entrance). Brick on drunk tiger.
  22. Here is a big crane for you in lego, the boom is transported by another truck in real life.
  23. Yeb that was the problem I could have it the same height raised but it would not lower all the way down or vice-verser.
  24. You also have to go by the number of wheels 3 axles is probably going to take you up to the 60 ton mark any heaver than that It will most likely have more axles.
