    Octan......as long as I can make an Art Deco style Octan letters......I was think of a fancy billboard advertising Octan Oil.....still working on it. Keep watching !

    Thanks 'TMJ28', I based it in part on early Texaco gas stations.....a lot of time spent researching into it in the last two days. I only have some interior and pavement work plus a minifig to go inside......so keep watching !

    Now a drug store would fit the bill nicely and would slot into the era perfectly.

    I feel that the larger modulars might be a thing of the past, the first one release seven years ago and didn't tell a story....like a city set does now. Seven years ago an 18 year old AFOL was still a 11 year KFOL playing with city sets.....which are all role play sets, so now that young AFOL wants or Lego thinks they want a modular that has a role play story behind it like a more complex city set.

    Thanks 'monsinjor' for your kind words, the radiator is based a little around the GG's one but my own simple spin on it. I'm finalising the office/shop design for the filling station.....I'm thinking outside of the box on this one......keep watching !

    I wouldn't say childish, but childlike......taking us adults back to a simple time of childhood.......like a trip down memory lane. I prefer the PR and DO even over the GG thanks to the interior and exterior detailing plus an added story line to allow one's imagination flow freely.

    Having watched the entire last series today, I now understand why Zane looks so metallic but now watching those clips at Lego.com and see the minifig box art......I'm a little confused at why somethings are appearing in sets and not others......by the looks of it the Nindroids are still in the story and what about that dude fighting Kai ?

    Since I have started creating a story to go with this modular......it's getting a little cramped so I have decided tonight to start work on another building but this one is only going to be a simple gas filling station......though during my evening walk a bank idea popped into my head.......keep watching !
