  1. Great representation of potatoes! The story is great too! @Mesabi, permission was granted for the use of potatoes™ (Registered Trademark of Spud the Viking)(I sound like a Greeny now ) Also, psst... Spud may join the WTC in the not-so-near future
  2. Brilliant use of the cape! I really like this build, looks too clean for the Sea Rats though
  3. Absolutely love it @Ayrlego! I might steal this design in the future! My only suggestion would be to vary the flower box a bit since your tailor shop uses a similar style, though this is only a small suggestion on another beautiful build!
  4. Rather unexpected... Meanwhile, my vessel will probably be ready mid-December due to exams
  5. Lovely build! I love the wooden stilts/supports and the minifigure expressions, great build all round!
  6. Fantastic build as always sir! I love the things already pointed out but the small details are also superb - I love the lady's umbrella and the bars on the roof! If this is to be a street I take it the builds will be detached? So many good looking sides I can't imagine you'd want to hide.
  7. Map Name: Studica Grid: F4 With the New Brickika forces repulsed by the RoN their forces went underground, quite literally. Spud's detachment had been notified of earlier attacks by the RoN, so they prepared themselves. A squad of RoN forces entered the subway station and slowly walked down the escalators... The fighting broke out and Spud's group had the advantage of the tight corner of the platform which created a bottleneck for the RoN soldiers... Not before long, Spud's squad had wiped out any enemies, though two of their own had fallen in the firefight... Small victories such as these is what will win this war against the RoN. Just then, more troops could be heard making their way down the escalator. Spud and his men can only last for so long in that dark and draughty subway. _____ Sorry guys for not posting sooner, life got in the way and I can only apologise to you players for my late contribution!
  8. I like the diversity in the colours of the rocks on the base. Nice build! Not sure how I feel about the use of dynamite but I can shrug it off as gunpowder
  9. It's in the master index, quite a bit down under 'other indexes' Link 1, 2, 3 Boy, was that hard to do on mobile
  10. Fabulous architecture! Really enjoyed this build and your approach on Oktoberfest!
  11. Brilliant build all round. Great idea with the 'cookies' at the end. Question - do you take apart modulars for your MOCs? Just seeing the 'highlander' window piece and thought that, I'm just curious as I keep my modular intact
  12. I especially enjoyed the lighting in this picture, great shot!
  13. Thanks for compiling this @Mesabi, very interesting read. I think it will take time and effort from both sides (traders and game-masters) until the trade becomes 'balanced'. That's my two pence anyway.
  14. These descriptions are top notch! Great writing and comedy throughout, well done!
  15. Thank you! In real life I also would side with the grumpy old man trying to get some sleep!
  16. Thanks @Capt Wolf! I am sure Corrie mothers do, but only when they are visiting Corrington colonies. When they have drink in them, Spuds hardly remember to pack up themselves! Also, can a moderator please change the title to ' [COR - mini Challenge... ' , not sure what happened there Thanks mysterious administrator
  17. Oktoberfest Inn - Small Artisan (Red Barn Inn)
  18. The Oktoberfest celebrations are almost by but certainly not for the Clan Spud members of Corrington who are still in Weelond. With the last hoorah of drinking to be done the Corries go out in style their usual mess. Next on the hit-list was a tavern in the centre of the city, none could remember their own name never mind the name of the inn, so it will be up to the mayor to inform us. A rather high-class establishment was not prepared for the Spuds; they had laid out exotic fruits, wine and local delicacy baked goods, expecting notable Esolandians to be supping within. It was as if a riot had broken out because of the shouting, singing and bouncing around. Much to the displeasure of a local noble upstairs, the Spuds continued singing til the 'wee small hours' (well past any Esolandian's bedtime ) _____ Hope you enjoyed my 'Dutch' inspired build. I had little dark red bricks, hence the studs showing but I hoped to looks okay! Apologies for the mess left behind in Weelond - Spuds are a law unto themselves... Small Artisan in Weelond
  19. Great story! Can't wait til the next episode!
  20. A very impressive build! I can see the amount of time and effort that went into this, well done!
  21. Great scenes! You haven't been watching 'Bridge of Spies' recently, no?
  22. I love the fact you have gone away from the norm of redcoats and traditional Corrington for your character. A warm welcome!
  23. How about changing the relationship to 'abysmal', like in the Total War games (I'm heavily inspired by Empire: Total War for this game). This may save any confusion, hopefully.
  24. Nice build! These buntings seem to be a trend this year in Weelond.
