    Thoughts... The steering is fixed only by friction and axles are bound to slide away over time...Where is suspension? What motors will you use? I suggest you tuse use more than 1 MLA, forces on steering are really high when offroading.

Each walking cycle uses 32 individual models to create smooth walking cycle:

    Not bad for a first model. Yeah LDD can be tricky, but can be really usefull for making digital models, or even some basic animations. Too bad there is no Lego Movie version available, that one had more advanced options if I recall correctly.

    You can easily upgrade it with extendable arm, or steering IMO. Keep us updated!

    One small bug I noticed, if you delete too many things in a fast order, LDD simply crashes.

    Yeah LDD can be quite deceiving... Keep building in real life too, you will get experiences.
