  1. Did you actually build this in real life? The 8 ttoth gears would either fall off axles or be grinded...And the chassis looks really soft...Try to build it in real life, you will see...
  2. Looking really foxy, those golden rims really make it stand out.
  3. This little truck had some 3 major overhauls untill it came to this point. Originally I used the new suspension arms, but due to the spring connection points they created too much friction for smooth soft suspension. At first I used hard springs in front, but the redesigned front suspension allows for a softer variant with springs supported by half bush. The rear suspension does not use springs, but it uses the 9L links which support the axle to also give it flexibility. The suspension is the softest I ever made, the suspension will move a bit even by blowing hard on it Front suspension has over 3 cm of travel and the rear has over 4 cm of travel thanks to the drop axle. The rear axle allows for various different gear ratios, and you can use both RC motor outputs: I prefer the 1:3 gear ratio without a differential, as it allows the truck to go uphill and over bumps with ease, while still being fast enugh for walking speed. The bodywork was inspired by Monster Energy color combination and it mostly uses panels to create the organic shape. And the video:
  4. Not sure, I am gonna leave the others to agree on and that join in.
  5. Making Lego hover should be easy with RC motors....But really low hovering.
  6. As requested, here's the fixed LDD file: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/zblj/LDDparts/combine_harvester.lxf
  7. Welcome and see you on the technic subforum!
  8. Any way you can add rear axle steering?
  9. You are having same problem as me...First the rotors are not mirrored, which means either you loose power with the whole model spinnnig around or you tilt them so they counter act each other, but you still loose power... If we had proper mirrored rotors we might have some real stable flight by now.
  10. That looks rather cute, cab looks arther big though. Lots of functions, you are using a normal battery box?
  11. And this is a video of my idea for a brushless motor, radio control unit and a ew remote, which was sadly rejectected at Lego ideas:
  12. I added lots of good builders on my suggested channels module on youtube
  13. I just noticed how cleverly the head engages when lowered and disengages when raised. Thats smart!
  14. Different, but not in a bad way. Got a video of its wings moving?
  15. That looks really good! So what kind of truck did you have in mind?
  16. Anton truck has steering on both front axles like the real one... You can also add the rear axle's steering for even beter steering radius.
  17. What about this parachute guys? http://54.208.56.110/catalogItem.asp?G=4296983 Could be usefull?
  18. I suggest that any new stuff you build you add as a group later on.. Its simple you select chassis and add it as group.. The next guy who adds stuff selects all BUT the chassis (inverse select option) and adds to second group, and so on, so each builder has a group. I think the chassis can be 3 studs tall from start to finish, unless we are gonna put depleted uranium on it.
  19. Okay lets organize each other. First who is a serious builder ready to work on this project? Secondly any voulnteers for cooridinator?
  20. You can make a totally centered position using a 12 and a24 tooth gears on an L shaped beam.
  21. Plastic rear end? Yes its a corvette So far so good I'd say.
