If they ever make a statement, it will probably be something like, "A focus group of children told us they would like their pirate minifigures to have balloons in place of heads." Where are people getting this Juniors set? It doesn't appear to be released in the US.

I've never understood how someone could consider building a set to be challenging. The instructions aren't difficult to follow. Sometimes, while building an older set, I might not notice something and have to go back a page, but it's just following instructions. In what way did you find 8868 to be challenging? (I've never built it before.)

Serious question: If the new bandanas are incredibly poorly received, does anyone think TLG would switch to the original mold next time?

I don't budget it, but I try not to spend more than I make selling on BrickLink.

I wrote a review on S@H a week ago indicating that the color isn't as described, which I think would be very helpful for shoppers to know. They deleted my review.

The Oscars are meaningless. Who makes these decisions? According to this page, it's white men over 50. The whole things really stupid to me. If they really wanted this to mean anything, they would allow many people from different demographics to vote.

I'm still watching it, but I just thought I'd say I noticed how similar it is to Peanuts. I assume that was on purpose.

I've been trialing and erroring for a couple hours. Maybe it just takes a lot of practice to become comfortable with this. I've been using the minifig generator, but there are several changes I have to make to the minifigure every time I generate it, so it's a tedious process.

I'm a beginner with Bricksmith, and I can't figure out how to properly align the oars so they don't go through the oarlocks. How do you do this?

I don't just prefer the old color. I need it to be consistent with the dozens of other baseplates in my layout. Seriously, WTF, Lego? Also, it's stupid that the picture does NOT show that it's bright green, and it is not LABELED as bright green on S@H. If they hadn't raised the price by 60%, I would have ordered a couple dozen of them like I was planning to before I saw the price (now I have to wait for a discount). If I had spent that much money just to get bright green baseplates, I would have been really pissed off. This error on the page is hilarious. It looks like Dwight cracked into their server. I don't understand why some people post all of their MOCs to Ideas. I see things on there that are like 20k pieces and stuff… Ideas projects should be things that could actually become sets and are not tied to one of their existing themes.

I've bought MANY Lego sets throughout the years, and I've never found one missing any parts. I did find some damaged parts, though, when I bought Benny's Spaceship. One of the tiles looked like it had been chewed up by a machine. One of the rubber missiles looked like it had been chewed by a dog. It was really weird. The box was damaged, but I don't think there's any way the damage could have happened while the pieces were in the bags. Lego replaced them, of course, but it really puzzles me. The missile was damaged before the rubber and plastic were connected.

I just recently started to figure skate. I've just fallen in love with it. I wish I had started doing it when I was a kid.
