  1. I've actually been trying to build a log cabin for my Western layout for quite a while now and haven't come up with anything good looking so far. So it's really great to see this, a perfect job on the task of building what I've been trying for so long! I definetely approve!
  2. your TG is nothing, your country everything, young lad!
  3. We're sort of working on this, you know, give it some spice and some good old trash talk, you crazy religious warmongers!
  4. Why would we call an island anything azul - blue, in other words Oleon - our arch rival? how about verde - green, instead? And ähem, had I not been a leader I would have won category B, and I'm the king and the viceroy and since when is Eslandola a Republic where everybody has a say ...
  5. Although the King dissaproves of his subjects fighting duells and has instructed his viceroy to prohibit such activity in the new world, I am sure excited about this!
  6. man, you're hammering out one amazing piece after another, wish you'd build them for real though to see if things still work out the way you had concieved them. Anyway, I definetely approve!
  7. please resize the pics to 800*600 and I will also move this to the correct forum!
  8. Very nice one as well! Wish we could put yours and mine together ...
  9. Awesome execution! Time for me to show finally finish my civilian houses in Nova Terreli.
  10. Nice substitute for the missing hull pieces! I also like to see how this converted from LDD to real bricks!
  11. I actually feel the same! All those artisian buildings are what makes this game so different from GoH. And being the grandson of a cabinetmaker I always have a strong affection for good woodcraft. Thanks mate! And yeah, a monopoly on barrels might be very useful. No colonial trade without barrels at all! I will actually not put this house into a layout as I need the white bricks for the Castillo which I'm still expanding. But something like this will appear somewhere in the layout I'm sure! Thanks Mike! Thanks CD, actually due to a lack of bricks there's nothing inside which I why I took the picture so you can't see what's in there. Thanks Kurigan. I appreciate your commenting very much! And yes, I hope I can put together a few more mocs like this! well, it was actually you who inspired me to put in more colors besides red and dark red. And voila, here we go with a roofs that looks much better! Thanks a lot Kwatchi! Thanks mate. I'm actually trying to set a landscape standard for New Terreli. Hope this works out ... That is a great looking saw. My biggest problem so far was putting on a decent looking handle and I really like your design!
  12. oaky, the Pato Moreno is sailing on "Safer than Sorry"
  13. Your one funky dude, really love your sense of homour!
  14. can I still join the medium risk trade run?
  15. Thanks for the praise mates, glad ya'll like it! Actually the dude is taking the planks from the stack of planks already dry, it just happens to look as if he was walking straight ahead towards the log splitter Well thanks dude, good to hear from you again. Actually I was going to make two guys sawing that log but I just couldn't come up with a saw design that looked somewhat okay. Any ideas anyone? Let me refer to the German philosopher K.M. who once said "What's the robbing of a bank compared to founding of one." In other words, founding a colonial empire is just a slightly more legitimate form of piracy ... Yeah, it's a great piece. If you look at some of my other stuff on Flickr you'll see that I use it this way rather often. Some good research is all it takes! So I basically took a look at pictures of run down colonial style houses in rural Cuba and compiled the ideas into this building. I'm planning to make more though!
  16. I'm sure some sort of embassy or an office for a spy will always work. I'll think of something and make it a third and unregistered freebuild ...
  17. Wrong faction after all, but it's definetely to see you back!
  18. Extremely nice building, some very well executed techniques! I also like that open back where you can really see what's going on. But hey, that is quite a big shop for a woodworker, the guy must be doing some very exquiste business! Anyway, I was wondering if you actually keep these houses together and display them together? I was also wondering if I couldn't return the favour you've done me by building your temple in Thorshaven by building a house in this here style in that new city of yours.
  19. I always like a good Western moc and am currently working on something big myself. So I really like this and think more people should do Western Mocs!
  20. As I'm currently working on an American 4-4-0 myself this great inspiration, thanks for sharing!
  21. I might have some spare time over that Limburg weekend ...
