  1. Did you think about building wheels? I am using 14.2 cm wheel for my moc in progress. There is one with 15.2 cm diameter, too.
  2. Extraordinary model! Awesome functions, too! Well done!
  3. I often made hand drawings, when I take first measurements of the model I want to build. I use online blueprints, define the scale, take ruler and measure direct from the screen. Then I draw the model by hand and draw major dimensions. Later I build it in mlcad. Also, i draw various modules or mechanisms of the models that i dont want to keep in my head. I know there are tool that can do that on computer, but this method is more satisfying for me.
  4. Will you develop this prototype further?
  5. You wont get the answer for a question like that.
  6. Looks interesting, especially for outriggers. Eager to see the video!
  7. Great! How is the stiffness? Is it woobly? You could build these legs, and I could mount upper section of my Bodybuilding Terminator :)
  8. Great! You need two or three boxes with lots of drawers to store small parts. They d wonders in reducing time looking for a certain tiny part(s). Glad you have separate room just for lego and studio
  9. Tough entry. For now, one of my favorites! Nice combination of colors. And great use for orange parts. I like the interior, very spartanic, but functional. I can tell your photo and editing skills, as well as diverse camera angles are of high level, too! Awesome, just awesome!
  10. Maybe not for this contest, but this could be very useful for future contests, where model needs views from a lot of different angles to see all features, functions... Annotations (just a thin text line) can be useful to provide quick facts about certain functions of the model, and it is placed on the picture itself, which can help viewer to see all the functions of the model without having to read all the text. This could be great for voters/member which are not Technic/MT oriented, and are here to see the entries, without too deep analysis and vote.
  11. Everything looks ok. I would say yes to annotations and yes to combined images. It would be hard to find perfect balance to suit everyone regarding taking photos and editing them, so it seems it is the best as you said.
  12. Same as photoshop skills, your suggestion forces people to use ldd or ldraw skills, something that not all guys are prepared to, nor they even know how. I am great in mlcad, but dont know to work in ldd, for example.
  13. No it is not, at least according to post #41
  14. Can you complete some smaller set yourself manually using some of it 5000$+ of LEGO?
  15. Unfortunately not, (i am moving to a new apartment) but it is on my to do list.
  16. Good old 4404 bodywork. One of my favorites. Looks good black and red. I am not on a comp, but...Regarding chassis, i suggest you to check out Nico`s brickshelf gallery. He has few great 4wd chassis designs with free instructions. I think it has one with PP wheels, too.
  17. What a great contest! Thanks to all who voted in this contest, and thanks to all who built in this contest! Hopefully ModelTeam will be a theme in another contest(s) in the future! Congrats to Jeroen and Erik for making winning entries, and congrats to Polo-Freak, his model was my personal favorite, neck to neck with 007's ride! :)
  18. I am totally confused with BLE. I searched online and It says that my phone (samsung galaxy mega 6.3) has android 4.2.2 and BT4(BLE)...but someone here wrote before that Android 4.2.2 cant have BLE. Do we have complete list of supported devices?
  19. Great news you are keeping this contests coming! And I will keep reminding you for the big-fat-contest periodically!
  20. I hope it is big-fat-all-you-can-throw-unlimited-ideas-parts contest!
  21. Sorry for opening this topic, but I had use for this part, too, and it fits very well.
  22. Any idea when next contest could take place?
  23. I think these are actually two panels, both can be found on 42009 Technic set. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=64782 http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=11954
  24. Better put link to the image, instead of posting the confidential image. It is kinda forbidden to post such images.
