  1. Worm gears have highest friction than any other gear types
  2. I hope you will make a great model. I am just afraid that the scale is very large. Judging from the picture you provided, it seems that cutting heads are going to be nearly twice as big (height-wise) as the power puller tire, which is very big, and probably very heavy, not to mention parts-consuming/ If you are going to put one motor per axle, you might have run into the even bigger problems, because each motor will drive its axle in different speed, cos the axles have different sized wheels. Better stick to one drive motor and diff between axles. .
  3. Some good business deals, great traveling with my gf, and of course-few big BL orders :)
  4. So its AWD? Why so large scale? It may be hard to make strong body and cutting heads in this scale.
  5. Why dont you make entry out of it? It is very original and cute.
  6. Erik's post was very polite and constructive. He did not write anything bad about the tow truck, in fact he liked it. And also he took time to make great suggestions for OP to improve it. Very nice first entry. I would also suggest you to follow Eriks ideas. Time is on your side, and you have great model already :)
  7. It has be stated that it cant be mod. It must be new moc. I would like to see that creation of yours, though :)
  8. 1. Constantly running compressor is powered by 5th motor independently via switch? 2. Home made stickers?
  9. Svaka cast, Bojane! Really really good model. Not just technically, but appearance-wise! Always great to see white machinery! Too bad you did not shot the video outside, colors would be much better than :) Again, great model!

  11. These two questions are already answered, guys. 1. You don't have to have a Sbricks, just use 2 lego receivers. Imagine a moc that could use full potential of one Sbricks, and build it with 2 regular receivers. 2. There is no part count restriction.
  12. I was questioning myself is a compressor as a function fair...SO...compressor as a function that powers multiple pneumatics (operated manually via switch)...ok or not?
  13. Somebody will use gearbox, somebody will make one or more manual functions, some will stick to 4 functions. Great thing is that we have a choice.
  14. Great! 1. Can model be modelteam-like...technic functions, brick body? 2. Can model be with pneumatics also, besides PF?...Drive, steer, rotate, pneumatic compressor? That way it could have more than 4 functions (via pneumatics), but all powered by 4 pf motors?
  15. A picture with springs, their numbers and their strength, please :)
  16. Just go to Bricklink and search. Look for bigger stores close to your location. Its all about finding best deal...
  17. I started like this myself, I got two Creator sets (4404) and yellow submarine, and I started from there. But since then, I have never purchased a set...10+ years. All the parts I got as a bulk from Bricklink. That way, I can fine tune what I get, and never end up with parts that I never use (I still have parts that I never use from sets)
  18. Hi, Dont buy sets to get specific parts. It will be very expensive, and you will got lots of parts you dont need (for your goal). Use Bricklink and buy the parts you need, in color and quantities you want.
  19. What scale is the VW youre building? And what wheels are you using?
  20. Woah! Excellent! I like the underside shot. I like how you managed to organize space down there! Very precise and nice to look at!
