Like everyone else is saying, the mic is good, the presentation needs some help. Also getting more parts might be helpful. I had the same thing happening to me, I would build a MOC and be super proud of it, I'd post it, and one person would comment on it. Since then I have gotten a lot more parts so I have more variety. Just work on presentation. Look at what the professional grade MOCs have in their original post; intro, pic of real machine, pics of MOC, lots of description, most of the time one of more videos.

Technic Hall of Fame Discussion

I think that a majority of the "technic hall of fame" topic would be cleaned out if the admins did that. -
Technic 2018 set discussion
aminnich replied to Kaanere's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Topics like these shouldn't be made until we actually have pictures, members tend to speculate a lot and we get our hopes up and once pictures are released, we have excepted much better. -

What percentage of your replica would you say was the same? Not including new parts and such. -
Scale Modeling Building Help
aminnich replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
For the build I want to do next, I will be taking measurements of the actual machine. I can not find blueprints, so I will get a tough idea for scaling it down with my tape measure. Also, quick question. Do you guys base your scale on tires? Or something else? I would guess tired only because they are a fixed size and you can work with that scaled version of tire. That was my thought for my next build. -
Lego Motorised drill
aminnich replied to MattL600's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Definetely something I have never seen before, I like it! Drills like that usually have 2 speeds, high and low. So for something a little bit more challenging, try that. Then add a clutch with about 15 setting and you have the real thing! Well done! -
Really, if you want to make a true crop sprayer, make the 'c-model' one you are making now, then make a total MOC of one and compare the two. I am sure you could make a really awesome one without the lack of some parts. In fact, I might have to try and build something like this You really have my interest for this one!

This is a really cool build by the way. I would love to build it with you, but I don't not have the claas.... yet haha

You should really try to have the battery box inbetween the axles, and lower to the ground. How it is right now, I feel like your center of gravity is way too high. Also are you planning on having the sprayer arms LA powered or pneumatic?

Would it work though? At least on my vechicles (I don't know if they are just too heavy or what) come to a complete stop as soon as the motor is turned off. I feel like this would only work if the vehicle was moving at a high velocity and when the motor was turned off, the vehicle also went into neutral. I don't know, what do you think? The mechanism you made looks like it would work, nice job!

Generic Contest Discussion
aminnich replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I know everyone is more concerned with the 2017 sets by I'm not impressed.... sooo I am wondering about the next contest. I know Jim is busy with reviews, but do not forget about the next contest. -
I am just going to post my 2 cents on this set... This year and last, the flagships weren't that "holy crap, that model is amazing, I NEED one those now." Last year the BWE seemed unfinished and IMO they could have done a lot better of a job. After thinking about it, I will probably buy one used just for he parts. Now for this year's flagship, no way I'm buying this one. Like the BWE, it looks incomplete. Espically the back. For the astronomical price you are paying, the crane should have been fully remote controllable and the side panels do not do a justice for me. Also, it looks like a rainbow threw up on it. Forget it if I am wrong, but for example 42009's (easily my favorite flagship) insides were mostly light/dark blue-ish grey and then the yellow (yes, I know over used on technic models) was used for the body work and I thought it looked amazing. With 42070, it looks like TLG had a lot of leftover pieces and just threw them inside the model. The 6th interior picture is a good example of color vomit; blues, greys, red, yellow, black, white, orange, even brown. When I build MOCs, I do not use those colorful colors for much of anything. Also, what is the point of just recoloring a part? Why would we want a red differential?? The only good part of this model are the tires. I do not have a claas, but those tires looks amazing for a lot of different model ideas I have. But then again, yellow rims? Really?? This model was very disappointing, which is not a bad thing... way too expensive for my budget. Okay, ranting over. I am curious if any of you agree with me.

Technic 2018 set discussion
aminnich replied to Kaanere's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I always thought these discussion topics were posted too early. Now you guys are starting to talk about 2018 sets before we get our hands on 2017? Do not get your hopes up for anything. -
Future MOCs
aminnich replied to Epic Technic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This is something I have wanted to build, but I just do not have the time for it right now. A zero turn mower, large scale and have it fully functional. -
Future MOCs
aminnich replied to Epic Technic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hey guys, This is a topic for everyone, like an idea collection of what we could build in the future. Sometimes I am not sure what I want to build and I have no ideas, I google search different ideas and sometimes I do not find something that really interests me. If you have ideas for machines, conceptual builds, trucks, cars, tractors, etc. post them and maybe you will inspire someone else to build it. -
Linear Actuator Clicking
aminnich replied to SNIPE's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The actuator's clutch engages before the white clutch, it can not handle as much torque. So because of this, the actuators clutch engages so that is why the whole clutch acts as a 24t gear. For the white clutch gear to activate, you would need enough resistance between the output of the white clutch gear and the input of the actuator. I hope that makes sense
