  1. I have an ECX RUCKUS, that is 95% upgraded, it was a cheaper truck, but all the upgrades I did to it make it very fast. I'd smoke your REVO
  2. In my opinion, that's a steal for 40 EUR.... Well depending on how much that is in US dollars haha. If it's close to $40, than nice find
  3. They both have their pros and cons. LAs you need to figure out gears from motor in input shaft, which sometimes can be tricky. I use LAs a lot of the time, I just recently got some pneumatic parts and I haven't been able to try them out yet. Pneumatics you need to figure out where the tubing can go so the model this looks good. I would say both have the same power behind the actuator rod if done correctly. Really it comes down to, what you have available and what works best for whatever you are building.
  4. I am just trying to get ideas of how I can modify a 19 wide or 17 wide chassis. And using these 2 LEGO models is a way I can go about doing this
  5. I am not saying you should sell, but if you need the money, pm me I would be interested in buying what you have for an appropriate price
  6. What other truck models are 17 studs wide? EDIT: LEGO models and MOCs
  7. Hey guys, I was going to post this in the axle thread, but I was not sure it belonged there. I am looking for ideas for good strong front axles with suspension. Basically the same as the 42043 Arocs (dual steering), but I did not this that it was very strong and the steering mechanism was not strong at all. Anything would be helpful Thanks
  8. I really like this truck, you captured the curves of the cab very well. The colors you chose were also very cool, different, but it works really well. Like Leonardo said, it is a smaller truck but the amount of detail is still excellent. I Like building semi trucks, but most of the time it stops at the chassis since I am no good with building a properly sized cab and be able to get the curved right, you have done all of that. Well done!
  9. I can speak for myself. I did not join the contest to win, but I definetely thought I had a chance....
  10. Where? I dont see anything about this contest except for the contest announcement
  11. @Milan @Jim Aventador2004 brings up a good point, how come the voting topic is not on the front page.
  12. I am not mad that I am not getting as many votes as I thought I would get, ya I spent a lot of time working on it, but this contest is a lot different than others. Voters are all not voting on the same thing. Some are voting for the not that looks the coolest, some on the durability im not trying to sound rude here, but some bots look like they were built in a day and they have more votes. No matter what, I am glad I participated. EDIT: @PKW I only looked quickly but the voting topic does not tell how you should be picking who to vote for.
  13. My bot is now in pieces, but the battery box that were actually supplying power were exposed, but getting to them when the arms were spinning would have been difficult. Sure, I was hoping to get more votes, but hey, everyone did a great job.
  14. Took the bot apart today. The part count was 1092.
  15. Are you looking to have 2 different motors with one output shaft?
  16. If you win and you dont want it, I will get you my address
  17. I mean if you do not want me to vote for your bot, that makes my job a little easier This contest has a lot of great contestants. I am excited to the the results in a week or 2
  18. He did not want to do the same, read the post closely. I am not trying to bash anyone else's ideas, but I think having batteries in a LEGO battery box is different than having batteries in a LEGO built box. Totally different. The battery boxes are meant to hold batteries, thats why I do not see a problem with what I did.
  19. I use battery boxes as weights with batteries inside them, that is totally different than have a Lego boxes with batteries inside. If you really want to make a big deal out of me using a battery boxes for purposes it really isn't meant for then so be it
  20. I personally think that is you want to use batteries as weights, they need to be in a battery box where they belong.
  21. I will be honest, when you first posted I was not sure about this bot, but seeing the final result, you 100% have my vote. Awesome bot!!
  22. @Appie Sorry for not posting right away, I finally got the chance to take some pictures of the bot fitting inside the size constraint legally.
