  1. I think there is no difference which customer service center you'll call untill you can speak language comfortable to you. Recently I had an order on German S@H and had call to UK CS. The lady offered me to transfer the call to german CS, but as I don't speak german - I stayed on the call with english speaking person.
  2. 8297, kind of interesting set for me. Love it!
  3. That's always the best option to go for. As example I had an issue while registering on Rebrickable. I made an obvious mistake in my email, not allowing to receive a confirmation letter. And system didn't allow to use same nickname since it was taken while registering with wrong email. Emailed website staff/owner/support explaining the situation - got it fixed it in couple of days.
  4. G+ has an ability to simply download whole album in one ZIP archive. You can choose this option in most top right corner dropdown list. Might be more usefull that PDF for some of you.
  5. Found something fishy was going around recently. Congratulations Jim!
  6. Well, I believe the main challenge and fun is to utilise all exisiting Lego parts to create what you want. As for me, seeing MOC with, as you say, better gearbox with customized parts is just not fun, there is no interest in challanges it took to create it. This feels me like screwing and glueing parts together in crazy ways, angles and shapes. Such way it becomes not a LEGO at all, just a material you can use to create a model of desired shape/form. However I find it cool creating custom Go Pro camera holder, which connects to your MOC, so you can make onboard video. But it shouldn't be part of a MOC. Also I'm not sure about 3rd party tires, this is a cool option, but still undesided. Robotics is a kind of a different story, there are different challenges so for me it is fine when 3rd party or custom parts used.
  7. Well, Crane Mk II costs 8490 roubles on that website, which is 196.619 Euro, similar to S@H. So the prices might be pretty accurate.
  8. It's huge! Just before checking the pictures on the link you provided I thought how big it could be, as motorcycle tyres are already bigest in Technic. The result - wonderfull wheel design!
  9. I did some glueing and drilling recently. I suggest you to care when drilling. And don't drill at full speed, as lego brick are very soft - single wrong move and you have bigger than needed hole. When glueing make sure not to use too much glue and your fingers must be clean from glue, as these both could make your bricks look awful.
  10. This is sooo awesome. I'm speechless due to number of functions integrated in this car, and those are very compact - utilising all available space.
  11. From photos I can say these tires doesn't look to be soft at all. How are they?
  12. Did the same, bought it for parts as model itself doesn't look very impressive (haven't assemblet it yet)
  13. Some of them were available for sale, but these were sold out quickly. However you can still buy the rims.
  14. I've added both the *.ldr file and the picture above in a single ZIP archive. I'll keep both file shared, but for better control of your files I can advise you to share it by yourself edit reason: link removed
  15. piterx could you or anyone else please check if polaris.ldr is working fine (did as you told above), as I don't have software to test. edit reason: link removed
  16. I wish to agree with that. Since this site requires "yet another website registration", where you'll forget login details after few days.
  17. I don't own Eifel tower set and not familiar with it, but I think some sort of additional support made from trans-clear bricks might be better than glueing the parts?
  18. Yeah, dust is a killer too. Sadly there are no affordable "Approved for Lego Technic flagmans" shelves/display cabinets with right space and closed from dust.
  19. jadedomg, aren't you affraid of models rolling out from shelf and crashing? Btw. It looks like you have IKEA EXPEDIT shelves. I was thinking about having same one, but I wonder if you could remove vertical inserts? How do you think, will it keep shelf and horizontal inserts still strong?
  20. I knew it was Panda in one of your latest teasers! Great looking MOC and I really like it being green.
  21. This and another two so far: Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular 3L with Center Pin Hole http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32184 Technic, Liftarm 1 x 11.5 Double Bent Thick http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32009
  22. Probably these are the ones introduced with 41999?
