  1. With such longer wheel base you'll be hitting the body, when spring compresses. So you'll need either lift up the arches, or move respective ones to the front and rear, but this will again make wheelbase appearing shorter.
  2. Nice looking base, keep going with the body.
  3. Cool truck, I like the lifting axle. Since when simply posting your MOC requires to have building instructions already? Reverse engineer it!
  4. HI, I haven't build mine 8110 yet, but it sounds like same problem already discussed here - please check if your differentials facing different sides of the Unimog. Just check picture in post #11 in this same thread, and you should be able to observe that.
  5. Well this is the same story with all exclusive and limited edition items in the world. Exlusives and limited edition are sold out very quick and should stay exlusive and limited, IMO. I doubt that non-exclusive sets will be sold that much and that good as exclusive one.
  6. Boss is the name of rm8's entry in Technic challange. You can check his threadhere.
  7. New sets appeared in Lithuania too, all prices are German price +20%
  8. I just figured out our local LEGO branded store (no official TLG stores in LT) still has 1 set available. I had a chat with shop staff and I was informed they had received 2 of these sets. I didn't buy the set as secured mine already. I didn't tell them but I wasn't happy that this particular store had my contacts to let me know if they'll be getting 41999 set, however never received a call. Oh and price tag is 200 Eur. For those who isn't sure if their online order will be successful I suggest to have a look at other than TLG shops, as they may receive few sets.
  9. The lady on the phone asked me if this was my first order (it wasn't) later she checked it and there was nothing wrong with my order. She told me orders are being checked and processed and advised me to wait a bit, so it should be fine tonight or tomorrow morning.
  10. Thanks a lot for sharing this phone number! It helps you to get in touch with Customer Service when you don't have S@H in your country (just tested it to check why is my order still "Customer Service" status).
  11. German S@H states now: Out of stock, expected ship date 5 Sep 2013 So I think it was worth getting this set at night after all.
  12. This is the only PF Train motor available.
  13. I wonder why it is listed on US S@H only at this moment. I had a look on German, UK, Danish S@H - to trace of this set. Someday all of us move from read-only to proper EB member
  14. Nice looking exterior, very smooth, almost non technic look.
  15. Less than a week left till official launch, get your $$$ ready! btw. Rm8, I have discovered 41999 and his author (you) being mentioned in well known russian IT related website (in comments section). News are spreading wide.
  16. Blackbird, do you have last picture in a much higher resolution? I'd love to study the functions.
  17. Someone on this thread said that good prices come with a big market. I agree with this. However it isn't working for smaller countries/market. This simple because Lego is expensive because there is no market, there is no market - Lego is more expensive, it is a loop. I want to give you an example with Technic 9398 Crawler set (I know it isn't new, can be found on good sale), which is still in stores and in local catalogue: Local catalogue/shop price - 787.99 LT (~228 eur) German S@H (nearest one) - 169.99 eur German eBay - 125-130 eur US S@H - $199.99 (~150eur) Even with 30% sale, which is vare rare here in Lithuania and isn't applied to all the sets mostly, you could get a price of 160eur. No wonder there is no big market.
  18. You should consider buying 8110, as you can find nice prices for it on eBay/Amazon now (~150 eur MISB, when S@H offers it for 199eur), some lots were offering for 140eur, including free shipping (in Germany). However not sure, how low prices will go.
  19. Officially not, probably, but try imagining where/how (I don't have this set) the motor can be used. And with some modifications you could get some functions motorized.
  20. Hi there, first of all wellcome back from dark ages :) I managed to find Building Instructions for B model of 8285 set, where on a page 33 of this file you get the way to attach the motor.
  21. I didn't, this photo is from Rm8's blog.
  22. You can study this picture:
  23. Nice review again! No need for translation here. Oh, so many reviews teasing 41999, can't wait till August.
  24. As I understood from official vieos, Large servo motor is the same, except the housing has new fixing options.
  25. Agree with allanp's post (started to imagine all the goodness ), except for the price, set shouldn't cost "over 9000". However I'd buy this the first day it would be available. One thing I'm against is branding, it shouldn't be Lamborghini, Ferrari, Pagani or any other real car copy, just a Super Car.
