  1. This topic has been started by author few time ago. This is an inetresting idea, would love to have such small item with nice functionality. Although I think it won't be possible to make it reliable in that tiny format.
  2. I think this shape allows you to fix the axle on technic plate.
  3. Fuel tanks should look awesome if chromed too.
  4. This was reported few weeks ago for US. No L motors available in Europe.
  5. Google search and RSS reader still have that article in their cache
  6. This bus reminds me of good ol days. We had them here too, there were few midifications. Illuwatar, check video name - Ikarus 260 which is hungarian bus. Check Youtube comments and you'll see author replying he is from Hungary too.
  7. Remember you can try getting these through LEGO Customer Service website (these hoods are Out of stock at this moment), so you don't have to pick enormous number of sets to get this amount of special parts you need.
  8. I read some time ago that people having experience in electronics and interested in RC models still had fires while charging their LiPo batteries. There is no wonder why there are special bags and boxes for LiPo batteries, where these should be kept while charging. I'm not good at electronics, but at least I'd keep LiPo in closed saucepan durig charging process.
  9. Only by weight, I think.
  10. Well i think few of your mentioned items already have been implemented in one or another way: 1. nicjasno (if I get nickname correctly) has done lots of different suspenion models 3. 8458 and 42000 have springs traveling horizontaly. Looking forward your ideas as both sounds interesting for me.
  11. Well I remember LEGO System sets in 90s had those one sheet 3-4 times folded "catalogs". And primary side was of the same theme as bought set and if I remember correctly it had a different diorama rather than in in store catalogue for same theme. This thing was very interesting and inspiring! I could study those for ages at that time
  12. I think it was discovered sometime ago that part of building process involved glueing to create impossible shapes and brick connections. That says much.
  13. Looks massive! I didn't think it will float to be honest.
  14. Nope. There are two small 8T gears in the middle, which make rotation for both front and back axles in required directions. Not sure how strong this solution is.
  15. Thanks Philo, I looked at BL before too. As you may see some posts above there is a picture of completely green minifigure, which isn't listed on BrickLink. So I hope white arms arn't listed too and do actually exist.
  16. I wonder if there exists a Technic figure with all white arms?
  17. I feel like body needs some reinforcements in the middle, 4 mounting points might be not enough.
  18. Bricklink, LEGO Customer Service website
  19. This is huge amount of parts, expensive too! I wonder how long it takes to charge all the batteries and how this process looks
  20. If you wish to gain on your karma - scan it > provide scans or upload them to one of websites distributing Building Instructions > sell it. Current selling price is as above.
  21. That's cool, I like modular designs. You can make few more backs or fronts (probably more backs :) )
  22. That was funny to read Sadly none of reviewed sets was Technic clone.
  23. Did you notice that even general one sets tend to increase in price when they appear to be out of production? Flagships costs the most, take 8043 (I wish I had one) for example. It costs now twice as much as it used to when it was on sales about a year ago. Not sure about increased price of 9398, but 41999 has more PF items, some exclusive parts and looks good, so it will be be of a higher price anyway.
  24. The type of MOCs I really enjoy being made from LEGO parts. Do you have pictures with cabin tilted and what is hidden behind it?
