@Enceladus: no need to ask: I do not hold the monopoly on Octan's Peacekeepers . They bring peace to everyone, through suppressing fire. Let me just say, that while the build is good (I love microbuilds!) The story is my favorite part. I love what you capture there. I love the little comments about bringing the galaxy into Lawful hands. That really resonates with my take on Octancorp and its exploitation of natural resources and lawful but dehumanizing beurocracy. Well done! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I love this build! I actually think it's my favorite of yours yet! The angle of the jet pack and the destruction beneath is so cinematic and cool! It has a very James Bond-y feel to it! Lovely work! Now that I think about it... my Ground Tactics Tech build should have just featured an Octan employee releasing my swarm of Scorpions on a poor innocent MANTIS agent. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

The ship is gorgeous! I love the level of greeblage you manage to fit into all of your builds! It's wonderful and real looking! Also love the foliage growing over the ship! Dr. Long will love observing the growth habits of those plants! Very scientifically interesting! Also the walker is delightful! At fit I thought it was a legged holster for the droid. One of our slogans is: "Octan: We have reserves." After all. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

@Bob: if this is about Goatman's Moc: there is a skeletal mech/exosuit viable in the front of the scene. All light grey. I believe that is what the tag is for. He should probably have made it more explicit though. I didn't see it at first either! He does mention "I've prepared your ground transport: it's been having trouble moving through the dense vegitation." ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Planet: E02 Tags: Land vehicle, Science, Exploration, Civil //"Log date 357, this is Dr. Danielle Long, reporting from the surface of E02. I am accompanying one of my Drones as it collects samples, and making observations on the natural growth habits of the local xeno-flora. Air is breathable, Temperature is a pleasant 20 degrees Celsius at night at my current location, and the stars are readily visible. In-fact, I believe I can see the O.C.S. Axle from where I am.... This planet will make a fine resort-world for Octan's retirees. Naturally, specimens must be taken to scan for harmful bio-organisms and viruses, the analysis of which will take place in the pristine labs aboard the O.C.S. Axle. Dr. Long signing off."// Science by the light of the stars //"This is Dr. Long, aboard personal shuttle O.C.S. Cog 1, entering Space Dock 1 of O.C.S. Axle. Prepare decontamination shower for myself and my pilot. Aboard craft are 6 Sc106 Drones filled with xenobiological specimens. Follow typical extraction protocol for low-threat xenobiological contaminants. primary containment and threat assessment in high-risk section of Axle, followed by distribution to low-threat labs as deemed appropriate. Arrival time in approximately 10 minutes. Make that chemical shower warm, and prepare my usual soap cocktail. Dr. Long signing off."// Decontamination Note: This piece was meant to convey a sense of loneliness and cold removedness, and the red chemical shower itself is meant to be rather off-putting. All-in-all I wanted to evoke Fan-Disservice, and not the more ubiquitous opposite of that trope. The build was actually quite a bit more difficult than the pictures may imply, but it was built specifically for this one shot, so the technique I used to create the octagon that comprises the shower goes completely unnoticed. hope you enjoy! Here-on out, there will be mandatory "Ground Tactics" lessons for all employees, and under-performing Competitive Intelligence agents will be required to undergo re-education at one of OctanCorp's highly prestigious Training Facilities.
