Thanks! There's a bit of symbolism there! To be fair, Dr. Nai is kissing Dr. Long's you-know-what, but as far as he does know, you were in charge! I love how well our collaboration turned out, although you should have told me you'd be using those police helmets. I was this close to doing the same as a sheer coincidence! Thanks! I was pleased with how it turned out too, but it's obviously derivative of Soccerkid's vastly superior style! Ha, I just picked up the 10 buck chima set with the crocodile people for this. I really wanted to make it look thematically cohesive with Soccerkid's MoC. Thanks! I hope to try it again in future MoCs. Up until now, my go-to style for rocks has been snot, but the idea of mixing textured bricks is genius. Thanks! I collect a very small amount of things, and he occasionally makes freebuilds, but it's funny how we usually stick to the one or the other. He always yells at me when I get into his StarWars stuff. Yeah, this week was a big one for collaboration for me, and hopefully future builds will have even more collaboration. Even considering, I still had to reference some builds that were not collaborations, because they fit into the grander AG story, and making connections between builds to advance the larger picture is something I love doing. There are interpersonal stories, Corporation wide stories, and then there's the mystery of the Gates themselves and the Aliens inhabiting these worlds, and I'm sure that will come into greater focus later in the game, so consider some of some of my builds foreshadowing to what I anticipate will come... or a self-fulfilling prophesy... Also, I had wanted to throw a poke at Pombe for a while now (and planned to two weeks ago, but ran out of time), so when he featured that super simple Alien this week, I knew I could finally reference him properly. It's the long shadow of Octan, and the boot crushing our enemies, as symbolized by Corporate Tool, Dr. Danielle Long. I love that you have so much sympathy for her, when she really deserves half of the nasty stuff that happens to her, Karmically speaking... Although maybe Octan's incompetence made her into the jerkass she is?... I mean.... Someone has to make sure the trains run on time, and everyone else at Octan seems to be a dysfunctional alcoholic. No one's ever accused her of being lazy. She enjoys long hours of mindless paperwork, and watching the grass grow... for science! Thanks! Thanks! Glad you noticed! Sorry I waited so long to respond to this, but, quite literally, I was saving the best for last. I think this is my favorite build in AG so far. You scared me. Maybe I was a little drunk when I first saw this, but wow. Excellent work creating the unsettling tone, and the reveal was just stupendous! What a wicked alien artifact! That's just so creepy! I love the awesomnium chain, and the four arms. The build itself is clean and well photographed, as is your MO, but the story, as always, is where it's at! I really wanted to reference it in my own build last week, but, as mentioned, I was a tad tipsy at time of posting and didn't feel I could do it justice. Once again, your Clappie serves as both a comedic, and unsettling device, and the "plans" it has for Lu, I can't wait to see. You really outdid yourself Lucas! Gods, this is absolutely stunning. I couldn't help but attempt to imitate your lovely rockwork in my own build. It is wonderful how you've incorporated so many texture pieces and slope pieces into the cliff face, and the Octan tech-pillars/braces are just the icing on the cake. Thanks! They're actually Rockraiders/powerminers crystals, but I find they work well as blaster flashes! (even better, IMO for like machine-gun-style blasters, but It works here too. ) Why, thank you! As they say, don't fire to you see that white dot in their eyes! I doubt it! What you see in this build is most of my available dark tan, and even some of my unavailable dark tan. (don't tell my model-keeping brother... oh well... he already knows. ) and ALL of my nougat... to the point that I mixed with that earthy orange colour. I think it turned out pretty well, all things considered. I also bought a set specifically for the olive green. You are looking at literally my entire collection of olive green. Oh definitely don't go back through the tomes. I was much more niave back then, and the forum universe crashed and I had this big dramatic dying speach that's forever lost now, and Odin it was a mess. For me. Pudding-Head, you seem to be watching more people now than you have eyes!

I may not be niave, but I do want to live... I mean... slay more dragons! Live to slay more dragons! Those who are too big might capsize the ship before we get to Valhalla to slay the dragons and loki-worshipers who destroyed it! You'd best be watching me, for with my incredible bravery in the face of peril, I will surely do something badass and worthy of a new mead-hall tale! Unfortunately up until now, all of my feats of strength and Valor have occurred while no one else was watching... Wow... that was deep... I was noticing a bit of Deja Vu. Hopefully I don't die on the first day like last time.

First? Ok! Well, if we need to vote off one of us, it should be the largest, or least useful in a fight. I for one, have fought and slain a mighty dragon, so I think that rules me out.

There's not much that does please Dr. Long it seems. Gorgeous build! Certainly my favorite of yours so far, and definitely ranking high on my list of all-round favorites! The landscaping is just wonderful! The trees, too are absolutely gorgeous in their simplicity. The way the dark grey rocks break the green is just lovely. This here's a Mead hall, lad! Mead and mead accessories are all we need! That reminds me of this one time I battled a ruthless Jotunn warrior over the last sweet barrel of Mead on my ship when I was its captain! It was a mighty fight, and it makes for an even mightier tale!....

I said it before, and I'll say it again, this is a gorgeous MOC, Marcu! I love the diverse breakages in the terrain, and of course, the base itself is the highlight of the MoC! The way the "road" falls off into the terrain is lovely too! The greebling (and rails) everywhere is spot-on, and the use of the backside of the 'brick' piece is awesome! My favorite detail, I think, is the stripes of Octan colours on the base. I love the grey stripe as well! It really adds to the wall. Also great land vehicle, too! Ah, yes, it seems Dr. Long is using her see-through gloves while handling those specimens! Crafty Dr. Long! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
