Ragnarök Now 3: Day Four

I don't know how I think about this. Personally, I think it's much more likely that we're just up against an incompetent scum team. We have no evidence to the contrary. We don't even have a 3rd kill by the looks of things! Why that is, I can't tell, because with the numbers as they are, it would certainly not be unbalanced. That's kind of why I believe the traitor issue. -

See, I just can't see how what Mist did could have possibly been a sting, though. What did she hope to gain by that if she'd been Townie? I can't see any possible benefit. Didn't see it till I posted. Ain't that the way? Anyways, I've been inactive, but I would prefer "lurker" to "sheep" as I have my own opinions on matters. And I've been talking Tammo this whole time, as usual. Not as much as usual though. I really have been busy. Also it seems now I misread CMP's querry. No, sir, I was not mired by sesquipedalian diction, merely the quantity of smaller words. -

NOOOoooo! Tamoooo! Well, aside from the death of Tarben the wise and too-good-for-this-world, we seem to be doing pretty well. Manud's death at least removed an obstacle from our way, as he would likely have been high on our list of suspects today. (Sorry buddy, no offense intended) It looks like our blocker chose a non-killer target, which is not super useful in terms of easy catches, but maybe useful in terms of Sherlokian deduction. As for Lodmund, I really can't see why he would be so easily swayed from voting for someone who claimed scum, but I absolutely cannot imagine a scum would be so dumb as to pull a stunt like that. Sheep. There's not a day 1 review coming. I'm just trying to stay current now. -
Ahahaha! This reminds me of the mindflayer ships from Spelljammer! It's so organic looking and creepy! I'd love to see more of these guys! Could be what's coming from the core... ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Never seen that one! I haven't watched many lately, but that looks cool, (and wiki says it has good reviews) so I may start watching it! I'm not basing my characters directly on the characters from spice and wolf, but more than likely they'll find themselves involved in plenty of "Spice and Wolf"-esque trade intrigue! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

Thanks for the warm welcome! Hopefully I can impress! I'm sure you'll have no trouble distinguishing these guys from my Octan character. Polar opposites! Thanks! I am a fan of the non-hero protagonist! Almost to the point that I usually play bad guys... but these guys are simply non-heroic good guys. I will likely draw some inspiration for these guys from my favorite Anime other than "Cowboy Bebop": "Spice and Wolf" They'll see their fair share of action, I can assure you of that! I heard about that. Fortunately for my free time, I know nothing about ships. Thanks! You're certain about that? I heard this was where all the cool kids went?... ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Octan has a flawless reputation for speaking absolute truths. No more. No less. We never lie. We state exactly what we mean and stand by it. It's all in your contract. Very small print. You'll need a magnifying glass... but this is Mitgardia! And these are adventurous traders... Not cold-hearted corporate hardass scientists. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
I heard that Mitgardia, Like OctanCorp, was in desperate need of new players! So, I'm throwing my hat in the ring, my gauntlet down, and several other objects on my table to support Mitgardia! Meet "Feliks and Nadine Begonya" Two expeditious traders from an as-of-yet undecided region of Eastern Mitgardia where they all speak with generically Slavic accents! These poor chaps used to be known as "The Begonya Brothers" Until their older brother "Petyr" died. Now Nadine must take his place as the personable member of their trading cart, and console her depressive, alcoholic brother. Fortunately the Begonya name is wide spread, and it is said that there's a Begonya in every big city in Mitgard. Not all of them are friendly, though, and some members of the Begonya family have racked up big debts... So the "Begonya Siblings" may not always be welcomed in whichever town they visit next! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

@TPRU: so voting for myself doesn't count? I'd really rather not get penalty votes... -
I absolutely love this! Your best build(s!) yet! The Equilizer's shaping and design is wonderful! The control room of the Equilizer is perfect! And the bar is also excellent!... And then there's the story, which I personally think is the best part! . "A shadow does not bear the colours of that which casts it." Was the official Memo on the subject, I believe. Sometimes corporate can be a little cryptic... You'd be surprised... ~Insectoid Aristocrat

Yes... I'm sure Dr. Long's main concern was the safety of "Patient's name here." He's a valuable subject... I mean... employee. Yes. Great build! I think they keep getting better! Your scenery work here is great! Love the floor tiles and wall tile patterns! And the gurney is great too! great job! Funny idea with the UV light! Maybe Sal can use it to cure MANTIS's hay fever! I hear they have a lot of blacklights over at MANTIS... ~ Insectoid Aristocrat

Ragnarök Now 3: Day Three
Dannylonglegs replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah, let's not end the day early. Unvote: Mist (Mencot) Vote: Danr the Dragonslayer (Dannylonglegs). Might as well help the day stay open for discussion. Now that we know Mencot's scum we can analyze her statements and reactions of others in relation to her so as to get better leads before the day has even ended. That's good for everyone. Except the scum, of course. Since I have no better leads at this time, I'll keep my vote on myself incase I cannot return by the end of the day to vote for a better candidate. Now I'm gunna take a nap. -

Sorry I've been quiet today. Life is eating my time like Jorgmungandr eat his own tail. Vote: Mist (Mencot) for the obvious reasons. I would have done so earlier, but I didn't have time to compose a full argument. Now that she's admitting she's scum, I don't even have to anymore. I was thinking the exact same thing! Ha! That's very true! Haven't seen one of those in a while! Well, this is all good news for us. The continued insistence that there's a traitor is also good, because, as far as I'm concerned, it means they haven't found it yet! Otherwise why would the scum keep coming out before the end of the day?! Oi veh. -
"I, Dr. Danielle Long, would like to donate my 50 credits to Bob. Due to reports of Unknown Vessels (the identification of which, the good folks at the O.C.S. Axle are working hard to accomplish), I feel as though my credits will be better used in the company's common pool. We may need them in the efforts of raising our fleet, after all... Furthermore I would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest addition to the Special Forces, Corvo Wingtips. Octan has far fewer espionage agents, due to our patented "Niceness." but we are certainly in need of as many as we can hire! Please sign these documents, and next of kin papers..." ~Dr. Long

Oof. You should'a built for Octan, mate! The way you styled that Beacon! Wow! I'm in love with that tower! Also, the Alien truck is hilarious! Great, great job! ~Insectoid Aristocrat

AG - Introduction and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Andromeda's Gates
Thanks! Glad you liked it! I kind of disagree with you, but not for any "strategic" reason. I don't necessarily think that the "brick built" aspect of a land vehicle should be the deciding factor in whether or not it counts. Integration and focus are more important in my opinion. As well as "effort put in" obviously I didn't build the motorbike myself, but I did build the entire scene (the ramp in the canyon, the container of the Hopper) around the motorbike. I would have added on to the motorbike too, but the piece has 1 connection point, which I used to clip it into the container. That, to me, is why it should be counted. If I had thrown the bike in as a background item, or in some other way that did not put it in such focus, then it would not have been counted. I don't think that using a prefab piece like the motorbike or bike piece should not count if effort is clearly put in to integrating and displaying it as a central part of the Moc/story. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
AG - Introduction and Discussion
Dannylonglegs replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Andromeda's Gates
If you look at my build, I have both a land vehicle and a space ship (motorbike and "Hopper") and I personally have the Domination for Dummies book. As Octan has the tech "Ground Tactics" and "Spaceship Mastery" we get an extra DP for land ships and Spaceships. You probably didn't see them since I posted early with a prelim pic. I did so because at the time I thought Lady K was going to post that day, and we wanted to post my build first as it introduced her landing on F02 (like a boss!). I finished the build and posted new pics before the deadline on Sunday. It was a fun challenge fitting the land vehicle in the space vehicle! the cost of my munchkining was that I don't integrate my attempted "science" bonus well enough to receive it, which I won't argue against. That seems fair, as it wasn't even Dr. Long doing the equiptment test. all she did was stand on a platform and look grumpy.... which, to be fair, is half her job description. Does that help? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
