  1. Another addition to my collection - a vintagy roadster. You can get the .lxf here
  2. Well, so much for my worrying that they would fall apart when actually built. Thanks for sharing, 'ritztoys', really great seeing them built in actual bricks
  3. I seem to be back in the MOCing saddle, because it is hardly a week since my last post and I already have a new MOC to share. The .lxf can be found here Comments and critique are welcome, as well as brick-building them
  4. It would be great to see any of these brick-built, 'ritztoys', so if you actually end up building some, please post them in the forum
  5. Thanks a lot, 'LEGO Train 12 Volts'!
  6. I have already posted this one, but I rebuilt it to actually fit a minifig. I really like how the bottom curve turned out, as well as the exhausts and the rear section. Here's a link to the .lxf (there actually are several city cars in the file)
  7. Thanks a lot! I suspected it was something along those lines, and now I know it for sure
  8. I have a little question. I was looking at the list of my topics and I noticed that some of them are missing. A bit of research showed that I can still see them in the search results, though. Why is that? Is there some kind of expiration date, or maybe it's a bug?
  9. ...And here are the other two. Frankly, I am not entirely happy with the azure one. Still, after I saw 75912 I decided to post my own take on a Porsche that had been sitting in my MOC folder for quite a while by then. The second car is the one that I came back to after this three-month break. I built the front of the car sometime back in July and for some reason couldn't get back into LDD up until very recently. Anyway, here are links to the .lxfs for the first and the second one.
  10. So here is the first of the three new cars. I was once again looking for new ways to vary my builds, this time - a different style for the canopy. You can download an .lxf here
  11. Nope, I am corrupted by LDD But the P1 McLaren set has a snowboard in a new color used as a rear spoiler. So who knows, maybe these parts WILL exist.
  12. Yes, indeed. I'm really excited about these new parts, this year's wheels were really popular with me. I am particularly interested in the new windshields, the current variety just isn't enough sometimes. And thanks for the comments, 'SearchFunction', it's great to know I have something of value to share with other AFOLs UPD: I looked at some of your MOCs and I have to say, they aren't at all bland. And unlike you, I am yet to master the art of 5-wide cars that can fit a minifig
  13. Thanks, 'TerminalTitan', that's very nice of you to say! I myself think that 6-wide cars are a little bit too wide, but they also allow for more complicated builds. There were at least 2 6-wide sport car LEGO sets in the last couple of years and a whole bunch of brilliant 6-wide builds in the LEGO City Undercover video game, so it's great to get a few more sets in this scale. And if you like these MOCs, you should definitely have a look at those new sets.
  14. With the Speed Champions coming out in 2015, I couldn't help getting back to building these. I have to say, I really like how the SC sets look. Maybe that's because they are the same scale as my MOCs. The other reason is that they use quite a bit of SNOT to give more texture to the sides of the cars. Anyway, I've had a few cars that were already almost complete, so now it's only a matter of making a bunch of renders. Hopefully, I'll get back with them by the end of the week.
  15. This is really good, like, REALLY good.
  16. Well, that explains it, I suspected it had something to dod with the gaps, but didn't realize those were 1x4's. It is always great to see something that is considered a fault in one build then turned into the main feature in another one. And isn't that what LEGO is about?
  17. It's really surprising how much of a curve those Technic bricks provide. I hope there's no permanent damage to the bricks, though. Anyway, it's a extremely good looking bridge and for some reason, that slightly unorthodox treatment of the bricks makes it look and feel more realistic. Great job, 'legoman666'!
  18. This is awesome, both functional AND cute. Great job, 'Cumulonimbus'! As far as the color scheme goes, I like the white/yellow/blue one the most
  19. What a beauty! Great job, 'zephyr1934'!
  20. The truck is really cool. I really like the suspension and the fifth wheel, both easy-to-build, yet very functional add-ons. Will definitely vote for this one!
  21. Something like this should be perfect:
  22. BELA is indeed a Chinese knock-off brand. Here's what this great article says about BELA: "BELA – Brand of a currently unknown manufacturer, possibly also selling under the name Jilebao. They are probably hiding for a reason. Produces blatant copies of Ninjago, Bionicle and Hero Factory, Technic and (recently) Chima sets. Have also been copying the Cars sets under the β€œLet’s Go!” theme. Seem to be goading legal action". So it's just laziness and plagiarism, not some cultural thing.
  23. I really like the way you built that tiny bird, I find it to be a difficult thing to do in LEGO. Great job with this MOC, 'DisneyinLEGO', and welcome to Eurobricks!
  24. These look really cool, especially considering how small, yet detailed they are. And I really want to play this game now, too
  25. After reading a recent post about 6-wide cars fitting two minifigs in one row, I decided to try to build one myself. Here's the result. It can fit four minifigs and even has something of an engine. The .lxf file can be found here
