  1. I think you can use rubber bands or possibly hockey springs for the suspension. Yes, it is like the quad bike suspension, but it's about 5 studs shorter. What do you mean by that? Are you talking about the turning radius or movement of the suspension?
  2. Here is a drawing of what I came up with: I hope it's clear enough, unfortunately I don't have any CAD programs nor the correct parts to build it.
  3. They're prototypes, I dunno how so many people have them though. They go for around $50-70 on Bricklink.
  4. How are you so good at making your models look AMAZING?
  5. I think a combination, but I agree if it's a vehicle with wheels (unless it's the landing gear on an airplane), it's mostly tyre size. For a medium sized model, I would suggest you use wheels between 8285 wheels and 81.6 x 38R wheels. Possibly 8070 wheels, but that's pushing it almost to large scale.
  6. I like that ghast, although it looks too happy. I'm looking forward to these new MF scale sets, it looks very promising so far.
  7. How wide is that truck? Because I have figured out how to make a 7-wide steered and suspended axle ;)
  8. Looks good so far. What did you do to the tyres?
  9. Wow, that looks great! Your SNoT work is always incredible :)
  10. I suggest you use some old, used light grey tubing. The new blue tubing is made of a different material which is much harder to stretch, therefore much harder to put on and take off.
  11. 41999 is already rare, at least at a good price from all those resellers... I'll probably never get a 41999 now.
  12. That's what I was trying to say, sorry. But you're right, if my RC unit broke (like many others), I'd at least take it out. But I wouldn't consider it really purist. It really is the builder's decision tho. I myself wouldn't use it even if it was useful, just because I would prefer at least cataloged parts in my MOC's.
  13. Cloud City Boba Fett. Ouch.
  14. I might get a big bricklink order for christmas. 15 pneumatic cylinders, 11 switches, and 20 feet of pneumatic tubing. Maybe Santa will come early this year... 50,000? That would cost a fortune even if you used the PaB wall...
  15. It's the internals of an RC unit. You can take it out and put it in without damage, but if you used it I wouldn't consider it exactly legal.
  16. That scorpion is great! Nice use of angle connectors
  17. Yeah, that new hot rod is What if you used model team tyres? They're about 1/3 of the width and they're quite a bit taller.
  18. Suspension? And yes, it has to be independent. Wow, somehow I missed this topic, all of your MOCs are really impressive, Lasse! I love how there is so much detail yet so much functionality in your models
  19. This is awesome indeed, the number of functions is incredible, and I love the way the power for the dumping is transferred through the coupling! One of the best entries so far!
  20. Superb! I love the SNOTted doors and how you used technic axles as pillars. It's so jam-packed with details, but it looks so clean! Absolutely the best mini modular I have ever seen!
  21. Here is my entry, just in time: Thanks for doing this raffle, CopMike, and happy Christmas everyone!
  22. Wow, you guys really put a lot of hard work into doing this. I think I might just have to build this :) What kind of pen is that? I'm guessing a standard pen like the ones you get at hotels?
  23. Awesome hot rod, I'm glad to see the use of the new arches in official sets as well as MOCs.
  24. Cool idea! I agree though that the forklift seems a bit off scale.
