  1. Maybe I'll start GBCing too, once I'm done sorting my 20000+ parts. I love all the mechanical goodness in every module. Plus I'm not so good at building cars
  2. The Medieval Market Village. Took me about 7 hours (one of them was taken finding one piece, I eventually gave up and went to get one from my collection, and I finally found it halfway through the build ).
  3. lol, I've never seen a real-life graper On the subject of the suspension arms, how did Sariel get them? Just cutting A-arms? He told me a hamster brought them
  4. That tree looks pretty good, I'm looking forward to getting all those 2x2 jumper plates when the sets get released. I'm also excited for that Nether set.
  5. I have the same kind of experience with keychains, part of the torso print rubbed off almost immediately, and the quality of them is terrible, you can literally almost see through them! I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same quality (or lower!) as M3g@b!ock$.
  6. That's an ambitious project! And YES you need pneumatic outriggers. And pneumatic everything else.
  7. You know, both are actually the same price on BL, around $134 for a complete set. Even though I would LOVE either, I think I might have to make an $130 BL order- 15 large cylinders, 13 switches, and over 30ft of pneumatic tubing! I'll probably end up buying both sets sooner or later.
  8. Looks awesome and ridiculous! Does it have suspension?
  9. Looking good, great work adapting the steering to work with an m-motor. Is there rear suspension?
  10. WOW, looks like it will be awesome! I don't think the u-joints will be a problem as he's using CV joints for the other pivot.
  11. I think you should buy the 42000, especially if you're buying for parts. Buy the 42008 if you want an m-motor, another AA battery box, and a crappy mini cylinder. Buy the 42000 if you want 4 large tyres, tons of wishbone suspension arms, mini LA's, many white parts including lots of panels, new suspension hubs, and CV joint parts. And to rephrase the question I asked a while ago, if I can only buy either one, which should I buy- 8880 or 8868?
  12. Wait, how did you get those parts? An inside connection with TLG?
  13. Wow, I didn't know you could get that much speed out of 2 RC motors! I don't think it's really ugly, it looks better than my MOCs
  14. I agree, they will be great for building live axles. What is the difference between the new hubs and 8448 hubs? Or is it the same mould?
  15. You can do that? On the subject of the broken RC unit though, I agree that it's probably bad wiring, but I'm probably not the one who can help you.
  16. I'm thinking of a truck trial vehicle, I think I'll have to get some of these too...
  17. I think if you can use an android tablet, that would be great and save you money. I think the regular remote would be better if you do end up buying one, it saves you money and the speed control wouldn't be that great for RC'ing the unimog anyway.
  18. For the Unimog you should probably get an IR receiver, a remote (not the speed remote), and an XL motor. You can use the XL motor for drive and the m-motor (from the compressor, which you probably won't be able to keep if you make it RC), and you can switch the motors out for the helicopter, XL geared up for the props and m-motor for the winch. Or are you planning on using both at the same time? If you want to make both RC, it would be expensive, but you would want, for the unimog: One XL motor, one receiver, one regular remote, and for the helicopter, you would probably want: 2 m-motors, one IR receiver, one AA battery box, and one speed control remote (if you want to control the speed of rotors and winch, if you don't you can opt out for a regular remote). But that ends up being 84 USD. I guess that isn't that bad though, and you won't have to pay for shipping.
  19. Oh wow, this looks awesome! I don't know why, but I love heavy and bulky independent suspension. Live axle can get kind of boring, anyway. Great work!
  20. Unique and original idea! I agree that while not for large cars, this would be amazing with small cars and allow for even smaller driven and suspended models.
  21. Wow, that's incredible! It's multifunctionomical.
  22. Awesome! Wants to make me buy a 5571, but it's so expensive
  23. That car is but in a good way! Very original entry!
  24. Ooh, those panels! I think I'll need to get that cargo plane. But that hot rod sucks. What's even the point of that set?
