  1. Yes, they're hard to find in large quantities, but well worth the work. They are nearly invincible, much stronger than the new ones. I don't know if I can improve the hub, but I can do it with the pictures already posted, you don't have to go to the trouble. Thanks for asking tho!
  2. Looking good! How much friction does the connector-built hub create? Also, with the space you have now, I think you might want to switch to these: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=9244a The 1/2 stud offsets shouldn't be hard to work out.
  3. I know the tread links don't count, as well as a few other parts, but it still looks really big. I guess just lots of long liftarms and technic bricks.
  4. W W! If we had a C-model contest, this would win!!
  5. Dat train... Excellent work!! Is that crane really 500 parts or less?
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks! I think you might want to buy pneumatics on BL, I'm not sure if Lego customer service will still replace broken cylinders from 8455. And YES, get 8420. It's one of the sets I missed out on, but it is awesome. Not to mention that the shock absorber and wheels alone are worth about one and a half times the MSRP.
  7. Same here, it seems like a great set, how could it not be great with 4 power puller wheels? But the prices are ridiculous.
  8. Nice job Juhlengo! I think he used the engine crankshaft piece combined with a very small length of cut rigid tubing.
  9. I like the idea, it's quite original! In the third picture down, what is that piece that holds the towball axle? It looks like a 4L thin liftarm, but what's up with the slit in the top?
  10. Cool B-model, Erik! But what are the pneumatics used for?
  11. Wow, this is amazing, I love the arm's functions and orange color scheme. I have no idea how you fit so many functions into that arm, and to have it all RC! Also, the four-wheel steering on the forklift looks great, but I agree the wheels are a bit too small. Awesome job!
  12. That's what I asked, I never got a clear answer from him... But anyway, it's looking good, I thought the second picture was a die-cast model it looks so accurate!
  13. Wow, vsync is awesome!! Oh man, that 42009 is beautiful.
  14. If you buy an 8421, which is more expensive than 8275... You could easily print a cylinder bracket with 3D modelling skills, but that wouldn't be Lego would it now?
  15. Looks a lot like your land cruiser, and very true to the picture! How did you attach the parts for the windshield? Cut rigid tubing?
  16. Just don't buy the cylinder brackets. They add no function to the model whatsoever, if you don't buy them you save $80-100.
  17. Wow, that's an awesome crawler, especially for a first attempt at one! I suggest you give it positive caster though, it seems to be struggling because of the negative caster.
  18. Wow, I can't wait to see it in real life! I've actually never seen a drag bike, it looks a bit odd but I like it.
  19. I think you should use these for the front wheels: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=44772c01 and these for the rear wheels: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=44777 I think a 41999 drift car would be awesome, buggy motors would make it OP.
  20. We need solenoid valves, it would solve all of the problems with LA's VS. pneumatics, and pneumatics wins! Servos would just take too much space IMO. I think the cargo plane has an L-motor, but we have yet to see the servo, I'd like to see that used.
  21. I just noticed, where did you get the balloon tyres with white printing? Do they come with 41999? And is it just me, or do the wheels have a nearly 45 degree camber angle at 0:58 in the video? Just finished watching the video, WOW it goes fast, especially for a studded model like that!
  22. Oh, that makes more sense, I don't have 42009, so I didn't know. It's nice though if you don't build the B-model, 32L axles are pretty cool.
  23. The fake engine is awesome, what a great vehicle!! The detailing everywhere is amazing, and you packed in many functions too! Amazing job.
  24. Awesome! It's very weird seeing drifting at this speed, it looks like it's slowed down.
