  1. Just came across this from Rebrickable Has a striking resemblance to Sheepo's model.
  2. I said it before and I'll say it again, Cuusoo needs to eliminate the pictures of the top 6 projects on the home page. Those are the projects that are receiving the most supports every week. This isn't fair to everyone else who has a project that is buried. And what is the point of another Zelda project?
  3. Finally got my book. It is awesome! Great job to all of those involved in making this happen.
  4. How cool would it be to have that White Gallardo as a real set? I am still trying to collect the white parts to transform my red one over.
  5. Actually the Vampire Gt gearbox operates very smoothly, in fact it is much much smoother than the typical 8448/8466 gearbox setup, especially in reverse. This is primarily based on the fact that he used liftarms to keep the gears uniform and didn't use 1/2 stud offsets. But I agree, if you would add 3 times the amount of gears, it would seem that you would get a great deal of binding at some point. But then again, if it is built properly and everything is aligned using liftarms, then I would imagine that everything will work no matter how many gears that you add, which is probably what Sheepo did here. From my experimentation with various gearboxes and such, I have noticed that the ones that tend to have a lot of friction are ones where perpendicular connectors are used because they have a tendency to not stay true on the axle that is supporting them, thus leading to a bind up from time to time.
  6. Seeing Paul's 1:10 scale car nest to your 1:10 scale truck reminds me of Smokey and the Bandit.
  7. This is in my opinion, the greatest Lego Technic model ever built by anyone.
  8. Like many have said in the past, don't post up something on the internet if you don't want it critiqued.
  9. I am talking about when the car is already resting on it's wheels and the suspension is somewhat compressed.
  10. If you are building a motorized model, why would you not want a suspension system in it? In a real car, how much really does the suspension compress? In a Lego car or supercar, it seems that most of the time the suspension compresses much more than it realistically would.
  11. The 14L axles are rare too. This model require a good bit of them as well. Especially since 16 ones don't exist and must be made out of 14s.
  12. I guess he won't be posting here anymore. I don't think Lego designers are allowed to post on forums.
  13. Wow! This may be the best bike that I have ever seen done!
  14. I don't get why people feel the need to post these teaser pics.
  15. The Unimog touches upon just about every aspect of Technic building. It really is a great set to get you back into building.
  16. Wow is this ever amazing! Great details! I love it!
  17. I would say that a very large majority of the supports for that project have absolutely no intentions of ever buying it if it were made into an actual set. They only supported because it was more of a school spirit thing to do.
  18. I think the Grand Prix racer will be right around the same price as the 8070 supercar. Maybe a bit less since it has no power functions.
  19. That truck is really really cool!
  20. Yes please We had a very good discussion going on about that model. I would also like to know if anyone had any information about whatever happened to the model that was being sold.
