  1. Those wheels are from the 8458 silver champion.

  3. Looking through the list of members at LUGnuts, there do seem to be quite a few Technic guys, but there also seem to be some notable ones missing. I don't know how active they are over there. The studded/snot models really are some of the best that I have ever seen. I am fairly certain that the guys who are in charge of LUGnuts are in the new upcoming issue of brickjournal magazine. From what I read, it is themed around cars.
  4. I actually prefer a Technic model done with the panels so that you can see traces of the mechanisms working inside. But I agree if the panels are just randomly placed and fitted into places in odd ways, it doesn't look very smooth. Paul has done an amazing job working with these new panels to get some really interesting angles, especially in the Vamp GT. It looks like it is going to be too hard for me now to get parts to do one of these in white since you guys bought up everything.
  5. I am fairly certain that if anyone, Paul knew it was a black flex axle size 19.
  6. This is a strategic marketing tactic that many companies use. Let me guess, these images leaked out of Germany right?
  7. So this is why there are no red panels on bricklink. Very cool. How did you manage to make the curves for the wheels?
  8. Oh wow. The F1 is rather large, but Probably doesn't have suspension much like the old Ferrari 8386 or they would have shown arrows pointing up and down by the wheels. The handler looks great! I think the 8386 was about 10 cm smaller than this new Grand Prix racer. I believe it was close to 47 or 48 cm. Those also do not look like the same size wheels on the 8070. There appears to be more rubber on the sidewalls. They also look to be sunken in with more of a realistic offset for a F1 car.
  9. That is a really interesting idea and also pretty cool. One thing though is that I really could never figure out what the purpose is of these engines. You are using one motor to created air pressure just to make another engine move. I really like Nicjasno's engines too except for the fact that the car model has to be followed around by a air hose.
  10. That is pretty nice! I think you should have modded out the battery box though. That is IMO the ugliest part of the 8070.
  11. AMAZING! I think that I have seen this before. Did you just finish this or was this something that you had completed previously?
  12. That is really nice Bob, the pics are crisp. Your spoiler looks like it is angled forward a little too much. Paul sent me an upgrade file with building pics to make the new spoiler level like it should be instead of at an angle with the rear hatch part. He posted up some new pics at Cuusoo and I must say, it looks much better. By the way, what kind of paint did you use for your flex axles? I don't see them peeling or cracking.
  13. You should think about maybe resizing your pictures. They are HUGE.
  14. I actually like the B-Model of the 8880 rather than the actual main Model. The main model was packed with some great functions, but really didn't resemble a car very well. The steering also seemed a bit rough due to the weight of the car. At least mine does.
  15. Nice model. One question though, do you have ny problems with the gears being rough when rolling it along in the first few gears? I only ask because I know those 8 tooth gears can be tricky to work with without being supported on both sides. That one that you have in the middle seems like it could wiggle around and cause some problems.
  16. Absolutely Love it. The only flaw that I could see is with the handlebars because the the flex tube needs to be bent to a certain angle to make it even on both sides. Perhaps Lego could create a new plastic piece that replicates this.
  17. This is probably the best looking and functional Technic truck that I have seen thus far. Great Job!
  18. How is it even possible to stand that being up your nose for that long? The irritation would be unbearable.
  19. So then the supports are basically there for the person and not necessarily the idea or project being offered. I am surprised she doesn't have more supports with over 14k subscribers on youtube.
  20. This is very well done! Congrats on a great model!
  21. I check Cuusoo just about everyday to see how the Vampire is doing and noticed some new pictures Paul must have uploaded recently. I really like this new spoiler.
  22. This new Android Project is really flying through the Supports. over 3,000 supports in just a couple days.
