  1. That's true. This does look to be very heavily modified. He probably would have been better off using the original design and just motorizing it. It more than likely would perform better being lighter in weight. I have to be honest, I don't like how all of those parts are being bent like that to create the curves in the front. But that is just me.
  2. So you took instructions for a model that someone has for free and modified the model and are now selling instructions for it? Just out of curiosity, does Paul know about this?
  3. Way cool car and very different. Since ths is a concept car with nothing to really compare it to, my only real critique is the distance between the seats being 9 studs. I also think the gear racks on the sides look out of place, but then again, it's a concept car.
  4. Discontinued? It hasn't even been released here in the United States. You can get the set cheap from some stores on bricklink. I got my set over a month ago for a little over $100 with shipping included.
  5. Have my model finished up and as expected, it is really good. Lots of clever techniques used. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. 3 versions for only 12 bucks was a great deal. Great work Paul and Eric.
  6. Any update on when to expect instructions to be available? It would save my refresh button some work, anyway :) Yes, this is something that I too would like to know. Paul gave me early chassis instructions quite some time ago to try out and it is superb. I would very much like to finish the model now Also would like to see OSU's full review.
  7. Seen this over at crowkiller's website and supported. Outrageously amazing.
  8. No U.S. release until September now. Ugh.
  9. The red and white rescue car is absolutely brilliant. I love it.
  10. Fantastic news. I've been waiting to build this. Blakbird, do you know when the instructions will be ready and how much they will be? I would love to get started on it this weekend. I think I have just about everything that I will need.
  11. Paul, please tell me that you are going to have instructions for that black and white police car. It looks incredible.
  12. How did you build that? No instructions just from the pictures?
  13. I like it. But the new chassis doesn't look very strong.
  14. It looks rather unimpressive top me.
  15. This is one problem that I do not have with mine. Something has to be off somewhere. They are falling out just by driving it around? As for the gearbox in 1st and reverse, I would check and see if you have an axle maybe slightly bent somewhere that is creating some unneeded rubbing. Mine was tight at first and I changed out all of the axles and it works great.
  16. I took the kids to Brickfair in Virginia a few years ago and hey had a very large GBC on display.
  17. Nice to see so many interesting concepts here. Paul, I loved the way you did the scissor doors on your Phantasm. It was very slick. Interested to see what you do with the turntables. The Enzo is looking great by the way.
  18. I've seen this before. It's good. A little too busy for my taste, but still good. No, those are those ribbed hose things. I don't think Lego makes any flex axles in orange.
  19. I consider any set is comprised of technic elemnets to be Technic set. Even if it says Racers on it.
  20. Holy cow. I never knew those panels had gotten that expensive.
  21. This looks really good so far. Hopefully the inclusion of the gearbox doesn't make the rear end of your model unproportionately too long compared to the real thing.
  22. He probably made the comment because the main function of what makes the Predator so special has been removed. When I see models like this one here, I don't think of them as improvements, but more so modifications.
  23. Very nice Nico. Looks great.
  24. The blue and black with the chrome wheels looks really great. But I would have to agree that structurally it seems weak.
