  1. Cool, I was thinking of making my Menck excavator with free instructions. Would anybody be interested? or maybe the reaper?
  2. Yes most are from the vids I have seen, and hopefully mine will be too. I'm aiming for 1.6 -1.7kg and will deff float nicely at that weight.. Minimum cab design with flex in red is the only way. I won't be purchasing anymore printed custom parts as they are too weak, inaccurate and dusty taking ages to clean up. Thanks for all the feedback and info guys, especially andythenorth! Cheers.
  3. WOW that thing moves, and I bet its super fun to drive, especially 3 wheels!
  4. Awesome truck! Looks really good with great performance too! I really like the body design.
  5. Great job setting it all up Jim, Many thanks, and makes sense to me, Guess I better learn to count 20 now. Just a query, the numbers of the entry list you prepared is off by 1 from the Entry topic, because the first post is the guidelines info, just wondering if that is correct?
  6. Wow thank you so much for all that useful information, I really appreciate it! Sorry to see your one break in half, must have been pushing it really hard!. So looks like im making the 8860 with larger wheels and cab. Just tested the chassis at. 1.3kg, and 1 L motor can turn it geared 3:1. hopefully when fully finished it won't weigh more than 1.7kg.
  7. I did think of that, but they take up soo much more room and they are metal, with a chance of rust as this will be going swimming! Fingers crossed this way will work, hehe.
  8. could not agree more! This is what I have come up with, its very strong and gives reasonable turning and pivoting. Just hope those lil LA's are up for the task!
  9. I don't think it is skid steer cos the 4x4 are not , and if you look at this pic below you can see a pivot in the center. This is a model tho, so hopefully it is accurate. hehe. Sweet! I was looking for that! Check out this pic, deff shows it twisting, but still not sure if it pivots up and down. Yeh I think it does pivot up and down, WOW that is going to be a challenge to make for sure! I'm excited!
  10. Hi Everyone I have been trying to find info on the Rolligon, but not having much luck at all. My main query is to find out how the steering works in an 8x8 version. As you can see from the very small pics below obviously turns in the middle but does it pivot up and down to allow for hills/ terrain? Does it still "roll" as well? Any info or advice would be great, Thanks!
  11. Man, that looks so cool! Stunning job, you should be so proud.
  12. Very nice! Good to see another Toyota fan. Min-figs will finish it off nicely.
  13. Sweet ride! I love that engine, its awesome. I would suggest you try to get those headlights forward more if you can to complete the "look" just my opinion tho.
  14. OMG so many cool ideas coming thu, I guess people have a lot of patience to wait to the end to show! This is really cool, looks so nice. Great functions with clever mechanisms.
  15. Wow, that is awesome! Looks so good, with realistic functions! I actually thought of doing the same moc but with GT or Giant brand, but no idea how to do it, yours turned out great!
  16. That is sweet! Even has a little squeak to it. Sure is original, great job.
  17. That is a good point! So here is what I use. The connectors are close so that you can push both sticks simultaneously if needed. Well If I do every start a BL store I will only sell very high quality used parts, certainly nothing scratched. :P When I built the reaper I took hard springs and put them on black parts, well the soft springs got put on yellow parts, and I thought there is no need to return them as I will use hard black shocks again. I will make a brickshelf acct when I have the time and upload the axle. Thanks for the feedback guys!
  18. Hey, here's my latest attempt at crawling. The Demon 4x4. I'm not happy with the body at all, but was very rushed to finish it due to my "play ground" being turned into a pond! Also underestimated how much red I had, ahha. Well the main experiment was to test the chassis, which I think held up really well. The dual steering really helps get over obstacles when needed. The axles are basically what I used on my reaper as they perform really well, but always wondered what steering front and back would be like. The weakness in this moc was how the shocks were attached to the body (poorly) and as a result popped off a few times. An easy fix I think, but not with this body, something better I think. Thanks for checking it out and wait for the crashes! I have an LDD file, but not sure how to upload it.
  19. They do look a little too much, but I didn't edit them like that. Heres some pics from the weekend, I kinda got invaded by a puppy tho. haha.
  20. I have no fingernails left already! So many incredible entries.

  22. This is a very nice car with a clean look. Great job!
  23. Awesome little motor, I like the design overall, very good proportions. Some clever ideas for changing angles too.
  24. Cool little quad. Some nice details, and I really like that bumper. The pendular suspension idea seems clever, Looking forward to seeing it in action.
