  1. Woah that is super cool! Miyazaki would be proud!!!! (Howl's moving castle) Amazing job, so freaking clever!
  2. Looks awesome! But you will need more tires or less body work. I have done a lot of experiments in this area and I'm also working on a monster Rolligon to Check out the proportions of my small Rolligon to get an idea what you will need. My advice is lose the propellers as well, they don't do anything at all towards propulsion from all my tests and you could probably make the drive-train more simpler. Also try crawler tires as they hold more air. Air tanks are useless too, each one only displaces 31grams of weight! Boat hull would be cool! Deff give that a try.
  3. Yes that's them, thanks for that, I didn't have a clue what their number was. haha. Thank you very much! It does require a bit of practice, but heaps of fun when you get the hang of it. Yes exactly like that!
  4. Is your promo pic allowed to be in an environment like the "triple" contest was encouraged to be? Like photographing on dirt or rocks or in the sky ect?
  5. Thank you for your comment, and honestly this has bugged me a little too, but I just came up with a much better solution by removing a bush, and discovering that the whole axle actually slides back and forth with the with the cable reel remaining stationary. I could not believe it that removing a part made it so much better and easier to use! Much more like an official set! I also will be taking pics again, this time using "RAW" format, which I have never used before. WOW what a difference it makes. THAT IS BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Thanks man! That's good to know. I guess I will have to rebuild and take new pics again then. Thank you very much!
  7. I would skip the m motors cos they are weak and 2 m motors didn't seem to work for me when on the same channel. If memory serves me, there is a bug where the V2 doesn't work well with 2 m's on the same channel. I switched to L motors with no problems.
  8. Reading the title, I had no idea what this was, but now I do! This is awesome, just a few more tweaks here and there for the body work should be sweet, just the top view really. I really like the front bonnet and I can definitely see the shape there, great job.
  9. LOL, skylight filter on the camera and shooting under LED lights doesn't work too well when your subject is the colour BLUE! What do you guys think is this accurate blue for you? I don't trust my monitor any more, haha.
  10. Hmm, suspension was the wrong term to use! Chassis or support would have been better. I'm disappointed with the lack of functions as well, but then again, for 99% of its life it will just sit there doing nothing looking pretty. hehe. What do we all think those tires will sell for each?
  11. Thank you so much! Looks like the turntable is ok. That's exactly what I thought too. Thanks Jim, TBH I think my monitor is a bit off, but I will give it another try, still got to do the promo pic anyways. Also my LED lights means I sliightly over expose and that seems to be washing out the blue, and correcting it I have gone over board a bit, showing purple.
  12. That's so cool! It's basically a mini transformer! Great job!
  13. Sweet! Parts list is done, that took a long time! I sure hope that's 200, nearly 3am now, gotta go to bed, haha. parts by Doc_brown1, on Flickr
  14. Thanks guys! I really appreciate the nice comments. I counted the large turntable as 1 part is that correct? 2 parts only apply to the small turntable right. Looking at the Inv of the logging truck it shows the small turntable in 2 parts and the large in 1.
  15. Thank you very much! Out of all the mocs I have made this felt like the most likely to be a real set, hehe. Heres a vid of it in action, and I will be updating the first post to include promo pic and updated pictures as well.
  16. And deff too wide for a trophy truck. Thats true, probably will be a tighter fit!!! Yes you are correct. :)
  17. OMG.... New half connectors holding the wheel hub too. nice. Doesn't look like it steers tho. Shame its on those wheels tho! Lets not forget those wheels spin inside the tire like mad! They look amazing on the tumbler, but are a little too wide in my opinion, good for F1. People will be modding the hell out of this thing!
  18. This is looking really good! I can see a lot of work has gone into this. I'm not too familiar with Bluetooth versions, but will this work with older phones? If you need help designing a case that is my specialty, I'm a professional 3d modeller with a decade now of experience, and of course I love Technic.
  19. So only newish phones or devices supporting the newest version of bluetooth will be compatible? For example my trusty old phone with Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR wont work? Thanks for the reply.
  20. Beautiful truck! I really like the clean design, very accurate shape too. I would like to see it drive with 1kg in it too. My only crit would be the side door seems to stiff, needs to swing open more easier. Apart from that great job!
  21. TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually I would like to know some more technical facts too, like how much current it can provide just like aol000xw. Keep up the good work!
  22. Awesome rod man! If you don't mind me asking did you use more than one video source? Like from 2 different cameras? I have noticed 2 of my videos have done a similar " frame rate" issue, and it really is annoying! Was it at 25 frames per second or 24? Personally I would pull the vid down and retry again, frustrating I know.
  23. yes my photography was off, and the pics were overexposed, hehe. For WIP I left them as they are, hehe. Sorry. Your monitor is fine.
