  1. I think Eagle 9394-LK Helicopter is just fantastic! Reminds me off Airwolf! 4: 10 45: 6 17: 4 36: 3 29: 2 22: 1 Good luck to everyone. Awesome contest.
  2. Could you give a link to your wife's store please? I tried finding it.
  3. 72 looks good, maybe its just the pdf! I struggle with the colour selection too, needs to be a simple version, haha.
  4. Thanks for the reviews! BRIGHT GREEN!!!!! MEGABLOCKS! Kinda ruined my day. That will sure limit its usefulness. I also have a question, will the new 3l connector work to continue the drive of axles in tight situations where this part wont work. Thanks!
  5. That is freaking awesome! One of my fav old sets too. Great recreation, I'm loving that suspension. I'm actually going to build this, but in white! Looking at the instructions tho, it seems to me that you used old dark gray? Was that your intention?

  7. Added the video to the top of post and below. Thanks for the great feedback guys!
  8. That is really awesome, I love the sleek look, its so smooth! A space theme contest would be great!
  9. Thanks for the great feed back guys! Thanks Jim! Yes I will make free instructions, hopefully next weekend. Thank you very much! Yes I will do lots of slow-mo. As for the rocket engine, well I thought to myself why not? Gotta try something different once in a while. I know not everyone will like it for sure, so might make it a add on. I just thought adding a 1 cylinder engine is unrealistic, but that is all that could be added, so why not a hybrid? Originally I wanted a twin turbo, but just couldn't fit it in the back and still have working suspension. hehe. I'm sure Blakbird will read this thread and shake his head in disbelief. Rocket hybrid, hahaha.
  10. Here I present my Hybrid Rocket Off-Roader buggy for the TC5 contest. I have used parts from 9393 and 42005, but was mostly inspired by their B models. I really like the final design, and took over 4 days to build, mostly reworking the steering to get it really good. Functions include: - Long travel independent front suspension with positive caster. - Live axle high articulation rear suspension. - HOG steering though drivers compartment with moveable and functional steering wheel. - Fake Rocket/1 Cylinder engine (because the pit crew don't like getting burnt every single day) Fake flame made from leftover parts. Steering via sliding 10l axles, that are actually adjustable so you can have more or less toe-in. Fake accelerator and brake pedals. F1 style steering wheel (the best that I could make with the parts available ) Very strong chassis, can withstand a 30cm drop. Any suggestions or questions please comment below, and thanks for looking!
  11. For what it is I think it looks pretty good.
  12. Awesome! This would be perfect with the new tumbler front tires.
  13. I was going to make something like that, just couldn't remember what it was called. haha. I worked out how to make it all synced, just haven't had the time. You don't need an app to make it work tho. Great job tho! I'm pretty sure in the Uk (early 90's) they were called shuttles or something.
  14. Nice car, but I think your camera work and editing was even better! Amazing video, some very cool angles I haven't seen in a Lego vid before. Good job, looking forward to the next one.
  15. I love the steam punk theme! Awesome.
  16. That is one mad beast! I love it, especially the name. Very good C model indeed.
  17. Thank you very much! I'm very happy that you had a blast building and playing. I'm looking forward to seeing it in red too, I don't have any 5x11 in red. Thanks for giving me feedback too, cheers!
  18. You mean ultra epic vehicle!!! I'm looking forward to seeing this develop! Is that ackerman steering?
  19. Amazing truck, so many functions! Well done on an amazing job and sticking with it thru so many versions.
  20. Awesome! You're the master of finding bargains! Looking forward to seeing some cool mocs from you now.
  21. Pretty sweet, I like the use of the motor.
  22. On your YouTube page click on "share" then copy paste the highlighted link directing here. :) I love your heavy duty drive-shafts! But I do think you used way too many non lego parts, and therefore its too easy to get great results. Regardless of that you did a great job putting it all together. Next job is to make something that will keep up with a Twin hammers or Wraith! haha
  23. Thanks for the suggestion! I didn't know they had real ones. True, but what is original these days? After all there is only one real story, "Who am I" Everything else is a based on that. Edge of tomorrow was different a bit I guess, like Groundhogs day meets Alien. I will reconsider actually, as I have a lot of DBG from the Patria doing nothing. UPDATE: Been playing with the outriggers and come up with something that looks really good and functions but wont be very strong. I don't have the parts to complete even one so I will make it LDD to show you guys.
  24. Hey everyone! I have been looking for a project to do that is a bit different whilst offering some cool challenges, and I think I found it! Introducing the Titus from the movie Into the Storm. This is obviously a fantasy vehicle made for the movie, but its just too cool, tho I do think the looks of the front end could have been better. Its specs are listed below. I'm looking forward to working out how to do all this too, but not sure how it will be covered as I don't want to do studded plating. perhaps black panels might work, im not sure. This certainly will be a long term project. I'm thinking 42000 wheels atm. Any thoughts or comments are welcome, especially regarding the looks, but don't show me how to do the outriggers, cos I want to work that out myself! haha Check out the movie if you haven't seen it, its really good!
