  1. Impressive! What's most impressive is you had them all built at once! I wasn't sure if that was the case until I saw the final photo. You've got more than enough for a full squadron! Reminds me of the time I made a full 12 X-wings, coloured to those in the X-Wings book series (The ones that actually mentioned the colour scheme. I took creative liberty with half of them.) EKnight
  2. I see it as a small science vessel, for exploring and taking samples on the ice planet Krysto. Eknight
  3. I saw that Bionicle mask and thought to myself, hmm, that looks like the hull from Slave 1... Slave 1 EKnight
  4. No. When I was building it, I got most of the way building it before I remembered the main body did split. I don't own the set, and I have never handled it, so it wasn't foremost in my mind. I was too far in, I didn't really want to try and work it in. I also didn't think to make a cockpit attach in the middle either, for the same reason. Thank you very much! EKnight
  5. Deep Freeze Scavenger An Ice Planet ship based (Obviously) on the classic ship Deep Freeze Defender. It features detachable cockpits like the original set, but the main body does not separate. Deep Freeze Scavenger Deep Freeze Scavenger It does feature a probe, like the original set. Deep Freeze Scavenger Deep Freeze Scavenger Let me know what you think! EKnight
  6. Wow, quite the impressive and detailed MOC! The most impressive part is the fact that the rigging looks to be all official Lego string! EKnight
  7. This is one of the best Pearl MOCs I have seen. The size is wonderful, not too big, not too small. Looks great. All it needs is the rest of the crew now! EKnight
  8. I display mine with sails. Every so often, probably every couple of years, I pull them out and iron them and dust them. I do find the newer stuff (2008 stuff and onwards) hold their shape much better over time, most of the sails still look as good as the day I bought them. One way I found for the older sets, when displaying the sails, don't attach the lower section. Just attach to the top bit and let them hang straight down. the retain their shape better when you do pull them out and attach it properly, and since they are fully vertical, they don't collect s much dust. Downside is it doesn't look as nice. No wind billowing the sails. Has a becalmed look. EKnight
  9. Not a set I ever thought would be remade by anyone, but you sure did a good job at it. EKnight
  10. Some dastardly space pirates have stolen and modified an Aerial Intruder Blacktron ship, and made it their own! Stolen Aerial Intruder This creation was literally an Aerial Intruder Blacktron set that I took and modified. It now has a full interior, cramped as it may be. I also added some upgrades, as things like the engines, needed to be larger to move the now much bulkier ship. Stolen Aerial Intruder Stolen Aerial Intruder crew Stolen Aerial Intruder Stolen Aerial Intruder Tell me what you think! EKnight
  11. Yes I did, but that large ship is the Gamma Gatria, and here are a couple closer up shots of the logo:
  12. Thanks! I often do use more white on interiors, but with this ship, I went against it, as I feel the more black heavy this one is, the more "battleship" it feels. I was also a bit constrained by the size of the ship in certain areas, plus my white brick supply was a bit low after building the big one. EKnight
  13. Rockraiders is the only Lego theme where that vehicle makes sense. Well done, would look great alongside the whole theme. EKnight
  14. Oh wow, this is STUNNING! I LOVE this so much. Especially the underground tunnel system. I'm always a suck for Forestmen tunnels. I also really like how there isn't a crazy amount of techniques involved. It's mostly basic studs up building. Castles that are full of crazy techniques just don't look like a good sturdy castle. and the landscaping is simple as well, but very well done. EKnight
  15. I'm glad you get the ejectable warp core and why it needs to be so. Made me smile. I love using as many different prints for consoles to, makes it much more interesting and visually appealing. And to those who think this ship is big.... Orions Eye I plan to eventually take pictures of that behemoth someday. EKnight Thanks, nice to hear that people still follow my blog, even though I don't post regularly.
  16. Thank you! Words cannot express how big of a Blacktron fan I am. I like to say it's not a fad for me, its a way of life. Indeed, my M-tron MOCs are few and far between, but I do like to go with the Magnet theme of it. EKnight
  17. Here is my latest Blacktron SHIP. Orions Eye by Elephant-Knight, on Flickr Orions Eye by Elephant-Knight, on Flickr Click on the pictures to see the rest on Flickr! Eknight

  19. Wow. Just wow. I didn't not expect it to transform into a robot! So hard to choose my favorite part, the side positions, the transforming function, the cockpit, the logos on the side... so many good things! EKnight
  20. Very excellent upgrade on the ship. For what it is, I don't mind the 4 Juniors pirate ship. I actually like how you kept the original crew. EKnight
  21. But... Why didn't you use a Znap piece? This is so well done. I really like the use of the Scala doll, the Galidor, the Bionicle. It all flows together seamlessly. EKnight
  22. I love this. Just brilliant. EKnight
  23. Those are part of the hull parts. rather difficult to work around. EKnight
  24. This book seems like a must have for me. EKnight
  25. And here is the completed MOC. Well, as complete as I am likely to do it. I don't care much for doing interiors. A few parts need to be ordered in the correct colours, but otherwise, it's complete.
