Combining two Caribbean Clippers (WIP)
Sebeus I replied to Admiral Blockbeard's topic in Pirate MOCs
I think you spaced out the fore- and main mast pretty well on your LDD version, If possible I would make sure the main mast is a bit taller than the foremast. I'm honored that you refer to my frigate for inspiration . One of my last ships I built before I went with angled sides for tumblehome may be usefull. As you can see from the stern it's a rather classic building style but nothing at all like a galleon. I have more pictures of you need any (link). -
Very nice, are those monkeys sitting on cats? A great building, it could as well serve as the governors' mansion.

Ideas for New Action Themes

I like these Idea's, especially the inclusion of some new animals such as leopards would be most welcome. -
[MOC] Submarines: Mantis and Leviathan

Thank you, I'm working on a third one in a red color scheme. -
This is really good, keep it up, I'd love to see more of this review .

Help! need more time!

Very nice, I love the doors to the cabin, I didn't realize it at first but your design is very compact, That rigging must have costed ages to finish . I think the bowsprit looks a bit too thick for this cutter. Good luck on finishing the Ram Cat .

I think this connection doesn't work in LDD, it's like fixing a stud in a technic brick, that doesn't work either in LDD.

Look what I just got - Report your latest Pirate LEGO acquisitions

The Black Pearl... I still want that set but I've never come across it unfortunatly. See what I've got . A set of white hull parts! I don't know yet what I'll do with them though, there are so many possibilities, maybe I'll refit my frigate (Farore's Wind) with this white hull and increase its lenght a bit while I'm at it. I know I said I was going to focus on costum hulls now but I just have to play with this lovely white hull first. Who knows, I might design a costum stern piece for this hull . -
I think 3 studs between cannon ports is acceptable for this ship, considering it has costum cannons (smaller than the shooting ones) it works out well in my opinion. They could indeed be spaced out a bit more equally although it's not really notable.

A nice clean build, I loved the original set as well but I never had it...yet, I like how you rounded the small battlements platform with the cannon.
-
It actually has 6 cannons (!), atleast I've seen a picture somewhere showing the gun deck). A very pleasant surprise, 3 cannons on each side, I really did not expect this, this makes it the most heavely armed ship in the history of lego pirate ships .
-
Nicely done, it reminds me a bit of the Lagoon lock up set, I love that hidden cave entrance. Good luck .
-
Well done, I like the improvements, those costum cannons look really good, I might try these as well at some point.
-
I'd ike some pirate accesoires, cannons, cannon wheels, barrels, anchors, etc. New ship sets would be welcome on condition they feauture some new things, maybe a new type of mast piece or hull.

MOC: Sloop HMS Small Green Flying Dutchman
Sebeus I replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
Nicely done, I like the ship's Idol It could be a sloop but it would also qualify as a cog, The square sail on the bowsprit makes a great impression, I like that. -
That's some though competition, well-played you two, It would be cool to actually see all of the modules connected some time . Good luck .

That hull actually looks very good, I don't see a lot of costum hulls build out of SNOTted slope bricks, the bow is always difficult . I have one myself of you're interested (link).

Go Johnny Thunder! Interesting pose, I can't make out wether he's kicking or sliding?

Your intersting and wierdest Mocs
Sebeus I replied to TheLazyChicken's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If I remember right (it was long ago) I was trying to build the bridge from a lego catalog (link), the eye in there was a coincidence and since I didn't have enough parts for a full bridge anyway I decided to do something with that :P I'd like to see that one put to use properly Quite an impressive weapon, that Death Star. -

Thanks, it's a printed 1x4 tile, here's the bricklink reference. -
[MOC] Submarines: Mantis and Leviathan
Sebeus I replied to Sebeus I's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks, it is on my mind but for the moment I find it extremely difficult to make a minifigure scale version. I did make a shark submarine based on that one though. But as you can see it lacks a canopy (it does have room for a minifigure). -
Your intersting and wierdest Mocs
Sebeus I replied to TheLazyChicken's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Oh, I have some weird mocs . Pile of dirt on the walkway. Eye in the bridge. Amusement park ride attack The next one is a creation by my sister, she had the (brilliant ?) Idea to put llama's in a spaceship. A medieval ship-of-the-line... -
Well done, she looks a bit chubby but in a cosy manner. Your costum hull works great, some lower angle pictures would be interesting .
