  1. You did a wonderful job with great detail and functions. The write up is very well done also. Instructions maybe?
  2. One thing I noticed about this set in general, it looks as though the chassis (frame) is bending under stress in the center. Is it just me, I do not personally own the set but am about 10 parts shy of being able to build it with my parts.
  3. I wish there was a way to reinforce the u-joint other than strong tape or string; a metal replacement would be great.
  4. The rear mod for the wheels reminds me of designer han's. Nice setup.
  5. Direct drive with live axle. Lego at one time produced metal axles I believe.
  6. What brand components are you integrating? I have HPI components that I experimented with my parts.
  7. Yes me. He said we need to sell to the kids mind you both my sons were with me at the lego store. I said how the heck do you think my kids can afford to spend $400. Still he said sorry only one per adult.
  8. It was me. Flip it upside down so you can find out which spring is weak. I also had a junk battery box putting out weak voltage. Brand new store bought set go figure.
  9. Wow I am missing 49%. Like every single blue piece haha.
  10. Wouldn't coming back to lego mean longer than a 2 month break? I mean it took me nearly 20 years to return and now that I did I own quite a bit and my first moc a year later still sits unfinished. Months go by due to life, kids, work etc... My 41999 sat in a box for nearly 2 weeks :) I purchased the 9395x2 on ebay for a total $60USD shipped. Great parts in my opinion and I thought I read on your old blog that you used to own 2. I would not pay $79 for one in toys r us. I'm with everyone else though get at least the 42009 or a couple 8010's. The logging truck if you can find one cheap has a good assortment of beams and parts as well. Grad prix if you really need those panels or colors but I don't see the value in the set.
  11. You are so mad slamming those doors and switches. Haha nice video anyways.
  12. I wouldn't jump to spend $500 just because you are off for a couple weeks. $500 can go far especially if you were to purchase two 42009 cranes (not on your list). The unimog has a boat load of good parts and is now on its way out of the retail market. 42005 is a big waste of money. I am confused. Did you sell your 9398. Stop building for two months then repurchase the 9398? A 2 month dark age lol?
  13. Built mine and put my rock crusher xt 1.9 tires on it. I wish this set along with the 9398 had more power. The tires grip but not enough power to get over obstacles. This thing is way heavier than the 9398. At least it looks awesome. Well time to start modding.
  14. Nice video but dude where are your shoes!?!?! Not to mention this limited edition set is valued double resale. Oh well nice video none the less. :)
  15. What source did these set numbers come from?
  16. Welcome to EB. Always good to see another USA member. When you have time check out VFracingteam's MOC's. One of the best ship builders on this site, enjoy. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=79406#entry1514771 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85102#entry1655431
  17. HAN said USA issue only.
  18. Site still won't load for me. Is their a picture located somewhere else? I would like to see this new moc.
  19. Oxyclean, hot water and a tooth brush. You got the set from a smoker??
  20. This is how the set is regardless of battery. The L motors are heavily geared down. 9398 or 41999 both are slow and weak.
  21. I am a proud owner but am I the only one that thinks the profile proportion is way off??? The wheelbase is way to short for the body it looks funny. I'm working on modding and improving the wheelbase at the moment. Will post when done.
  22. People really need to use the search tool more :) Are you looking for sorting or displaying because the link I provided has both.
