Interesting, I own 2 of the 8041 models. One came with 3 pin hole rims and the other one came with the 6 hole rims. Both were new sealed sets. -

Cool but didn't you make a cat litter rake system and cigarette rolling machine too? I hope with different parts, lol. -

How about a vector or scan? I'd like that. -
I do want to start this topic off by saying I understand what a differential is, how it works and why it is necessary for standard 2wd setup. What I am curious about is the function of a differential when placed in a drive train between two or more driven axles or 4x4 setup. Is a center differential necessary? Are there performance increases or decreases? What type of results have you had when running PF on a setup with and without a center differential?

Where can I download Brickstock? I googled it and it seems as though the brickstock homepage is not working. Would it be possible to add this to Rebrickable? -
@NXT45 I only bought one of the 64 case and 3 x the 24 case model. The seperators are limited but a thin piece of cardboard works although I haven't tried. You can also buy a sheet of acrylic from the hardware store and cut like 30 of them for only a few dollars. Two reasons I went with Akro-mils, 1.) Perfect for table top/desk space saver, 2.) I never like stacking sorting bins because before you know it you have 20 of them laying all over the place!!!!

Just search for Akro-Mils 10164 on amazon and start from there. Plenty of variety.

Scroll back the the first few pages. Plenty of examples mounted on the PP rims.

Great MOC & Video. Is there an advantage or disadvantage to not having a center differential? What applications require a center differential? -
I finally got one a couple weeks ago at my local store. For a display model nothing else compares. I had more fun building this set then some 100% Technic sets. The new wheels are nice although I am not sure if they fall into any actual scale for MOC'ing. The frame / chassis is extremely rigid. The way you achieve the angles is magnificent with the use of system parts.

Why would you ask him that??? -
You will find in almost all technic instruction booklets a small diagram that states all gears on an axle with another bushing or gear should not be forced together to tight. It is a small picture with an X for wrong and a check mark for right.

Sorry to bump this topic but it seems as though I missed out on purchasing this. I called my local store and they said they did not receive any word about the set being discontinued although they have not received any in quite some time. Shop at Home says out of stock with no other mention of when they will be in stock or if it retired. Anyone know?
