This is looking really good! Can't wait to see it finished. I'm with SirBlake on this one; I don't see any real problem with the interior, but the cheese wedge roof looks a bit odd in my opinion.

I like the spotty snow, looks like it's melting or something. The minifig skate is a nice touch too, but I'm not liking the grey tree trunk much. Seems like the tree needs some more leaves or something to flesh it out.

For me it's the sand on the dome and in the corners of the horse's roof. I'll bet that sand gets everywhere! I do feel like there should be more windows in a housing structure though, but that's my only complaint.

Thanks guys/gals. There's been quite a bit of inspiration for snow while I've been on holiday vacation; it's been an unusually cold and white Christmas season! $0.30-0.40 on BrickLink, or the 79002 has three (1 is 'extra' ) and those wargs... Yes! 3 of 'em Thanks, backstories are the hardest part for me. I'm really jealous of those that can do them well. My engineering degrees aren't much help when I want to come up with words...

This cracked me up. I really like that floor-standing candle thing, I'll be trying to work that into some MOCs in the future. Well done and good luck in the judging!

Thanks all for comments! I'm still not sure if I really like the big tree, I kinda feel like it looks too much like an octopus , I've got another Mitgardia build in mind to build in the next couple of weeks. We'll see if I can improve on the design a bit.

This little scene is my last CCCX entry; it's for the "Winter Scene" category. From the hunting lodge journal of Andor: “Snow is usually a hindrance to much of life in the Mitgardian winters; however, hunters like me often find it a blessing. The beautiful white landscape makes tracking blood trails from wounded game animals far easier to track. Today I let an arrow loose into a nice buck, it was a well placed shot, but the deer was a strong beast and he staggered for about a half mile before expiring. I might never have found him had it not been for the red blood on the white snow.” I've been trying to work in some icicles, but have been unable to until now. Grrr... I was at the Kansas City Lego Store yesterday, no cups--bags priced by the ounce. When did that happen? Last time I went to a PaB wall, it was how much can you cram in the cup. Also, "we don't do VIP points here", what the heck??? Edit: Spelling...

Doh! Yeah, I was thinking some tan, black or a different brown. Just to break up the (almost!) mono-color of the battering ram.

I really like the playability of this! I do think the battering ram could have benefited from a second color though.
