  1. Thanks Torgar! Thanks you three! I was a little concerned about all the reddish brown in the first story, especially after getting the reddish brown roof done on top.
  2. mrcp6d from Mitgardia, I vote for Avalonia.
  3. The offset looks really good here SK. The landscaping is awesome too.
  4. Thanks Gunman! That new profile pic is really messing me up though... hehe - Thanks man! I thought it needed something there to balance things out a bit.
  5. Completely agree! Especially since when after I was done I realized I cheated myself 4 studs in each direction.... lol - vigs are hard because they're small, I like building in the 16x32-ish range Thanks gedren_y! Thanks de Gothia! Your clean style of Tudor buildings is one thing I really enjoy about your civilian builds.

    MOC Venom

"Outstanding" is a great descriptor for this. Great shaping with a small selection of parts (and some odd parts at that!).
  7. I'm lacking one vote for my Ch II MOC claims: Architecture - roofing Architecture - wall techniques (Tudor style) Anthropology - life in Avalonia Thanks!
  8. Try this.Nice little MOC by the way, I like the brick-built rod.
  9. Huh, I would have thought the weight would be too much for those joints. It's clearly not though, color me impressed and thanks for sharing!
  10. Very, very nice! The water color transition is awesome, the boat is really cool, and you've communicated a clear sense of action. That said, my favorite detail is your attention to detail--specifically the logs and seaweed washed up on shore.
  11. Great work on a small footprint. The overhang is ace and I like the touch of purple.
  12. I really like this a lot. The wall is great; the lighting might be a touch dark, but I like it, and you don't need the text to understand what's going on. One of these days I'll have to try those little pine trees...
  13. Link to my Challenge II build: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96776 I just noticed I've been knighted, cool!
  14. Haha! Nice historical tie-in. You achieved an interesting curvature with the log bricks+headlight bricks+cheese.
  15. Thanks guys, I've been holding that shingle technique for a while. I've been wanting to do 1x1 tile cobblestones for a while, but they just don't fit anywhere but Avalonia! Thanks LV! Thanks guys, high praise from both of you! Thanks Kai! Thanks guys! Thanks guys, the grey-hooded guy really came together in my opinion.
  16. I really like your solution to sticking two of those arch windows next to each other. I'm definitely filing it away for future use!
  17. Hehe, fun story, fun movie. Sweet construction scene, the scaffolding is really well done. Although, for Cat B, this is lacking some landscaping and whatnot--are you sure you don't want to stick this in Cat A?
  18. Truly incredible work here Torgar. You've managed to create an elven structure that both looks elegant and sturdy simultaneously. And, the height is AMAZING! The fact that you build two gorgeous waterfalls is just icing on the cake. Again, incredible work.
  19. Beautiful! Really glad you're back!
  20. ROTFLOLThat's some amazingly beautiful rockwork there Infernum! I love the door buried in the rock face too.
  21. Nice vig! I do have a question though, is that a fish or a whale?
  22. Here's mine! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96776
  23. Even though the Drow occupy much of Avalonia, and much of the rest is plague-stricken, the resistance movement against the Drow is strong. Many Avalonian spies work to aid the resistance by providing intelligence on Drow movements. Unfortunately, this little build was all I was able to get out for this challenge. Business travel is killing me... I'd like to claim the following for UoP: Architecture - roofing Architecture - wall techniques (Tudor style) Anthropology - life in Avalonia Flickr link to a couple more pics. C&C always appreciated!
  24. Awesome cart. The SNOT work there is very well done.
