  1. I love the look of it, the functions, and the new panels. But with your renders it looks like a Technic version of a Speed Champions car, or is it just me?
  2. This look nice and very big. I think the tires will be fine. The 62.4x20 tires are pretty stiff so weight shouldn't be an issue. Their rims also come in metallic silver (from set 8285) which I plan to get as they'll match the metallic silver "stainless steel" sides well. They definitely won't be cheap though... The tires should be fine, however, the flex/play of the axles might an issue.
  3. That's a really clever setup. How much weight do you think it will hold?
  4. Looks super amazing! I have always loved the Space Shuttle (and the toys). When the Artemis 1 went up all I think about was the Space Shuttle because of the orange buster and the sound of the solid boosters.
  5. I think the Bollide looks great and has all those small panels! I hope I got the money to get one next year.
  6. On my helicopter, I want to put landing bars. What would be the best way as the weight is concerning.
  7. I have been busy, but have some progress to the build. The linkage was a problem with slop and/or function. Rebuilt, modified, or prayed to the goat gods, but I prevailed and I think I got most of the kinks out. I got the tail and linkage worked out and then the rest started to fall into place. Here was the first tail idea. Here was the start tail and the rotor. Here is the tail. This is the controls out. And in the helicopter. The redesign. The swashplate and doors. And the tail adjustment axles.
  8. Thank you. I should have hooked up the air compressor to it so I wouldn't need to pump so much and the functions would work quicker.
  9. Great detail! I love the builds of old vehicles.
  10. Sorry it took longer to get around to it. But here is the video.
  11. Update on progress. Redesigned the linkage, connection points for them, and started on the tail rotor. Here are a couple of tail rotor concepts.
  12. Great looking cute model. Simple and functional.
  13. That's glade to hear and your build is looking good.
  14. That is great work fitting so much functions in the roof. Looks so amazing!
  15. Both look great! I like the detail and a lot of moving parts crammed in there.
  16. Thank you. I have been working on refinements, tweaks, and adjustments. The video was just a rough draft when I posted. Might post updates of it tomorrow.
  17. The size is so impressive. It's the size of the hydraulic RC models. great work so far.
  18. I figured It was time to make a helicopter and with the hype about the 42145 currently. (Like efferman's custom parts.) Plus I had the blades sitting here for almost two years. This is not any special make or model. It so far has I have a rotor top, cyclic, collective, and rudder peddles. I used, for now, a modified setup that efferman made; But so far I feel good about the progress. https://www.bricksafe.com/pages/weavil/2022/helicopter-wip
  19. Amazing work on the old school look. I think those wheels work perfect for it.
  20. Looks like a model Lego would make. So cute and good looking build!
  21. All they need to do is make it harder like the black pins. (like the same molding process.)
  22. I like the work on the detail, nice and clean. Looks ready to go racing. Now you need a small Clarkson doll to drive it.
  23. Great build! I love cabovers, but loves older ones more. They both look amazing!
  24. I don't have those, but do have https://rebrickable.com/parts/32003/tyre-688-x-24/. I did consider them, however I wanted a larger scale. Plus I don't have a massive inventory or money to buy the needed parts, so I try with what I got.
