People need to remember that no matter what you do, you will always have one or two people that will be "that person". Just shrug them off and keep on rolling. -

I only realized to make a video when I had like 80% torn apart cause I need the parts for the contest. I might make one when I get done with the contest. -

That feeling when you don't need to rebuild half a car for the 12th time! Trial and error. However when they find something that works, they will use it over and over (mainly car/truck suspension). Trial and error can sometimes take way too long depending on the type of project (like equipment/machines). -

@Hrafn So like a leaf spring with pneumatic or a shock paired with pneumatic cylinder? There is this: -
[MOC] Mini Off-Road Crane
weavil replied to weavil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks. I keep going "big", but wanted to do small MOC's this year. (Except the ambulance, I started it in December and the contest). I was going to use the metal hook, but it seem a little big for the scale. I still thinking about as I'm doing the instructions. -

Thanks. Thank you. I have one, but I was trying to make it so anybody could get parts for cheap. I think $16 is they cheapest here in the states for the hook. -

It looks perfect. Love the tires, they match so we'll! -
Here we go! Was late to the party so I had less "choices" and lack of blue. I ended up picking the 8448. Not sure which body style to do, as the set has the option to build different styles. This set is large enough to be able to add modern touches. Like an 8 speed transmission, paddle shifter, and a smoother body. It's easier when you can make the original. In trying to keep it close to the original design and layout while adding the modern features is still proving hard. I had remake the transmission like six times to fit in the original chassis layout. This was the third to last transmission. But so far it's coming together! Still lots of work to go, but it's been raining in Florida so I got time to work on it.

I have tiny drill bit and tiny screws for impossible axles. Recently got a small pair of forceps. -
Technic 2021 Set Discussion

This seems more common then you think. On other sites people were/still get that jamming issue. So it seems like a "Make it work and ship it!" Issue with the Defender. -

This! I want to budget in a model that I can use with what already have, not expel the whole budget.
