  1. Definitely there was a shirtless Dastan in the PoP ostrich race set (7570?) though a quick image search shows lots of promo pics with his be-shirted version in that set. Maybe he was just topless in the UK...
  2. Hmm. Okay, I'm going to have a cheeky go at this, based on the recent 'trend' of figures helping to introduce new animal moulds. Think the figures in this list stand on their own, and the animal moulds would all also be welcome additions themselves. Apologies in advance for any clumsy cultural use of names: 1) beefeater (Tower of London Guardsman) with new hat mould, halberd, ruff & new raven (which can double as a crow) piece 2) Eskimo woman, reused baby part from tribal woman and new seal mould 3) fisherman, in yellow oilskin and new sou'wester hat piece, with lobster or new fish mould 4) Australian bushman (somewhere between Crocodile Dundee & Steve Irwin) Jonny Thunder hat and new koala 5) island tribal woman with turtle 6) shepherd with sheep 7) ranger (as in National Park ranger) with new squirrel or raccoon 8) Canadian Mountie with beaver 9) Roman standard bearer, including new minifigure sized eagle mould in gold atop a long bar piece 10) falconer (with new, printed falcon). Could be a castle era figure or a nomad type middle-eastern figure 11) statue figure - all grey parts, with new pigeon mould 12) vet with syringe and new rabbit 13) zookeeper (male) with new meerkat mould 14) ranger (I'm thinking how *not* to say a blatant Game of Thrones Jon Snow rip off ;P) with fur cloak, sword and new wolf companion 15) birdwatcher with new telescope piece and new toucan mould 16) castaway with dodo figure
  3. Just noticed the great new tail piece in the CMF series 16's 'cute little devil'. Since CMF new moulds often presage essential parts for new superhero licensed figures, then that must make a Nightcrawler minifigure a much more likely prospect in the future. Fingers crossed, anyway
  4. Great wave, can't wait to pick them up in the UK. Surprised by the 'extra' dual face prints (hiker, photographer) and some pretty generous accessories. Still a fan of the penguin accessory, frost queen, new pooch and Mariachi - but spy and hiker are unexpectedly awesome.
  5. In the UK Argos has the 3 for 2 offer on toys, and Amazon has discounts on lots of Lego to match
  6. Argos has the 3 for 2 deal on all toys (including Lego, some of which is also already discounted). As usual this means that Amazon uk is discounting a fair few Lego sets by about a third too.
  7. I think the lobster suit guy is a good call, given the cheeky lobster cameo in the Lego Batman movie trailer, and, more importantly the very useful claw 'hands' used in POTC and the monster CMFs ...
  8. Hmm well Tesco is equivalent in being the 'biggest retailer', but Asda is technically the same company as Walmart ... So who knows?
  9. Thanks. I was having to sit on my hands! Though, fact fans, most penguin species don't actually live on Antarctica itself - and some are technically tropical. Handy to know for MOCs maybe ;)
  10. Not compared to the rat mould. The skunk was fine. I'm just hoping the penguin is generic enough, I don't want it printed to identifiable species level...
  11. Yep. They seem to be out in the non-chain toy shops - if you have one nearby, check that. Not seen them in Argos, WHS or supermarkets yet.
  12. i've not seen it ... anyone?
  13. Did you get your Martian Manhunter?
  14. Is there any indication whether these will be on sale in other nearby continental European. countries (Belgium? France? Netherlands? Denmark?) when they are out?
  15. The Licensed CMFs have varying gender balance (6 in TLM series, 0 in the soccer series). But I agree - I'd like to see more female figures per series, and/or more non-gender-specific.
  16. And on the other other side, German AFOLs are about to get a whole lot of new international friends! :D
  17. a streaker?
  18. This. This is 95% of the licensed forums.
  19. Isn't the wildlife photographer coming with a penguin? That sounds like a new piece ...
  20. Totally agree. Overly printed legs can also restrict the usefulness of the legs in any other position than standing straight up too.
  21. Only just noticed today the glorious plaid/checked arm printing on the farmer. Nice touch.
