    I mean - I get that unprinted animals can be statues, ornaments, or architectural features …. although in my opinion they are lacking somewhat without moulded eyes etc. What I don’t get is how that works with a dual moulded monkey: which just seems not really useful for an animal or an ornament

    Really confused why these exist - especially the monkey. Assumed we knew the goat wasn’t dual moulded, but yes as you say, makes the Bricks & Pieces price all the more egregious and unjustifiable for a ‘simple’ animal.

    Only the ones which were worse for wear! Much as I coveted the western sets at the time, I still can’t get my head around either the Native American’s printed noses or the horses’ weird printed eyes. So I’ve never sought them out.

    Update: I had every version of the new / current horse, save the white Carousel version. I also have all versions of the new foal. I have less variety of the older ones than I realised - mostly as I’m missing the Native American printed ones - but I also did get rid of a bunch when they mould was updated 😬 I do however have the excellent grey horse from the Mill Village Raid set: we so need an updated grey horse (and no the spider-foal doesn’t count!). I’m not massively a horse person, but I do appreciate the working breeds like plough horses and ponies. My biggest gripe with the horses is that the bridle etc is always printed on. I kinda wish the horses were ‘bare’ and the various equipment was a separate price, but I realise that’s probably a niche view.

    This is such a cheap shot it really should be on a Megablocks forum. I don’t know what a Yu Gi Oh is, but that also means I guess I’m not a target audience. Would happily take a whole series of Green Lantern characters though* * assuming it included B’dg

    I’m a bit bemused by ‘Donkey will be an accessory’ - given that he’s such a main character. It does also suggest that whichever character he comes with will be pretty good value, and probably v popular, especially if it’s the dragon which will be a complex figure.

    With September’s CMF slot going to Shrek, I think we can assume that’s another ‘animal lite’ series (Big Bad Wolf, Dragon, Donkey & Puss in Boots don’t really count, do they?) Odd that we seem to have that list already but not the other pics for s29 (unless someone has just speculated on the main characters)

    Yep, Marvel one had the small ‘eyelash’ detail - this one has a plain round eye honestly though - they’re so similar, why bother to make such an infinitesimally different print?

    I still remember the heady days when very-confident leakers attested that the new boxes would see extra accessories & bricks, and specifically that the Marvel s2 would include parts to create a large, buildable, Sentinel robot.

    They just mean ‘the one after s29’ I’ve lost track of what ideas sets are in the works. Is there an Asterix one? The new long moustache part tha debuted with the One Piece sets also gives strong Asterix vibes …
