Indeed. And coupled with many of the superheroes female characters we do have only being found in more expensive sets ...

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
williejm replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
That would be sweet. I'm very happy if the CMF2 series is Justice League and Superfriends heavy :) ...and almost makes up for lack of Baturion and Easter Bunny Bat I'm still confused as to how they will make up numbers of female figures though - seems a few Babs variants is most likely. -

721/9203 is the code. I think they stared to sell them at £2.99, realised they'd priced them too cheap & removed them from sale for a couple of days before they reappeared at £4.99 They now seem to be discounted back to £2.99! -

Indeed. They also deliberately added in more female characters (I do recall moaning on here at 'genderbending' Chief O'Hara ?). We got some great badass and nonsensical female villains, Babs was easily the most competent character in the film, and several of the sets had a good showing of female figures (one of the most acce££ible sets was 2/3 female). Shockingly not all of them were Caucasian either. Representation matters but so does mindset and language - even on forums like this. Some uncles love Disney Princesses too! And isn't it glorious that in Lego, all of these characters can meet and interact, have adventures, *and* play house? -

Apologies, I can't think how I mixed up Crazy Quilt with Killer Moth! -

If i recall correctly we are working on these assumptions of 'confirmed' characters... 1 Black Canary 2 Hugo Strange 3 Clock King 4 & 5 the Wonder Twins 6 Zod 7 Jor El 8 Crazy Quilt ... and there's speculation over other Justice League members, which batsuits, and which variants of Batgirl, Robin and Alfred might make up the rest. I'm sure someone will correct me if this is off! -
My Hopes for LEGO Batman Movie Minifigure series 2
williejm replied to Fifulin's topic in LEGO Licensed
seems likely there will be at least one Barbara variant, possibly two ... as they will have to make sure there are a few female figures and so far we only have a Canary and Wonder Twin- 92 replies

Yes, seagull and chihuahua both first appeared in Series 10. To my knowledge the chihuahua has shown up in a few sets since then, but the Old Fishing Store this autumn will be first reuse of seagull.

I take it we clocked the recolour of the scorpion piece in dark blue in Ninjago movie set? Hardly a game-changer in the list of wants or guesses, I'll grant you ...

CMF Parts in "Make your minfiigure"
williejm replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
yeah I think the animals 'go quick' when put into the BAM section. Certainly true of the gulls! So it's good to get there at opening time before the kids have strewn everything on the floor... -
I concur. I also am sad that I momentarily got my moose hopes up. That said, they sprung the tiger on us by surprise ... so maybe let's not write off any more surprises.

Mr Gold Brick costume? -
Aye, I mean a skunk would be a nice addition to some of those city sets, be they swamp, forest or mountain ... and the seagull has to be the most underused of all.

Build A Minifigure. The cobras have been readily available there lately, but that's only useful for people near a Lego store. Agree it's odd that it hasn't been reused yet in a set, or recoloured, though.

That's definitely a bear (on hind legs) in far left corner of helicopter set, and looks like a leopard place holding for the cougar in the other set. is there supposed to be a moose? Or are you just getting my hopes up?

Don't suppose you have the Argos catalogue number for the Minifigures? ? -
If they are both recolours then they're getting great reuse out of the moulds whilst filling up our animal rosters. Here's hoping they throw something new in too - like a deer, eagle or raccoon ?

Assuming 'mountain cat' is a puma recolour of the big cat mould, and hope the bear is a new colour too
-
Seems from City 2018 rumours that theme may bring us a bear and a 'mountain cat' (presume that's a puma recolour of the big cat mould and a reuse of existing bear mould.) lego's fauna is very carnivore-heavy
