  1. Hmm I'm hoping that if we get a 'brick suit guy' and a 'brick suit girl' that we don't get a silly blue / pink versions. but hey, maybe 'brick suit girl' will have printed on curves... ?
  2. Yeah, seen the seagulls and the deep sea helmet both fairly regularly. The cobra seems to be the regular CMF animal in the BAM section lately though. had a look this week and was delighted to find the grandpa 'bald' headpieces!
  3. I've been thinking about this as a possibility recently, mostly on the back of some new moulds that have appeared in CMF figures. As we know, they often introduce moulds there that then are used in licensed series, so I was thinking about the new vet and fitness instructor hairpieces... In blonde and black respectively they'd be good matches for Rose Tyler and new companion Bill. Then we see a new scarf mould in the Ninjago CMF series. That's perfect for a Tom Baker doctor. And then the umbrella introduced with the Lego Batman movie might be ideal for a Sylvester McCoy doctor ...
  4. Also, will have to wait and see but, I think that at least the angler fish 'headpiece' looks like it might also work as a standalone fish
  5. Wow. I'd assumed this would be the first CMF series I might have skipped, but there are some seriously great figures and amazing new parts ( especially the octopus/angler fish headpieces and the new bowls and hair)
  6. Two new colours for the fish (black and pale blue) and one for the crab (tan) ?
  7. I'm torn between yellow and fleshie heads with my Twin Peaks figures - waited ages to get the perfect Nadine head in yellow, but the only decent Pete head is fleshie ...
  8. thanks, i'm clearly behind on news!
  9. anyone know if TRU will be doing battle pod promo this in UK?
  10. hmm ... I think the most likely recolour is a brown or grey rabbit. New mould? Sheep and hammerhead shark are long overdue and would seem most likely. Tropical / southern animals are so far underrepresented in minifig style though... so toucan? turtle? koala?
  11. That's just a pair of legs ;)
  12. No reason it needs to be 16, of course. but if you do want 16: 1 Dorothy 2 wicked witch 3 Glinda 4 Scarecrow 5 Tin Man 6 lion 7 wizard 8 munchkin mayor 9 munchkin (lullaby league) 10 munchkin (lollipop guild) 11 emerald city citizen (male) 12 emerald city citizen (female) 13 Winkie guard 14 & 15 flying monkey variants 16 black and white version of Dorothy ... It's definitely doable
  13. Agree. Except Stitch is the best character in the Disney series by a country mile ...
  14. Agreed. I think the gap on the cows was a mistake in retrospect for the printed ones, and was indeed surely down to them pulling carts, ploughs etc. tiger & leopard/jaguar would look terrible with a plain 2x1 brick inserted into that lovely printing. Also the ostriches were specifically designed for a set where they are ridden, yet figures have to sit on top. I'm guessing they can do the same on the big cats, as they have to do with the sharks and velociraptors ...
  15. I think 'fun in the snow' or a sports set are most likely
  16. Yeah I think it's not worth arguing the toss on the species level for the 'crocodilian' figure. Can easily be a croc, gator or caiman if you so desire ...
  17. So it turns out that we get a triple whammy of big cat variants with the new city jungle sub -theme. Black panther, leopard/jaguar and a nice bonus TIGER too!
  18. Nah sorry didn't snap a pic of the back. I wasn't looking at the vehicles!
  19. So I'm guessing that jungle is in Asia then if it has leopards & tigers
  20. 60162 does indeed contain a tiger!!! i just saw it with my own eyes in Smyths
  21. I'd easily mark connossieur as a popular / wanted figure. You get a French bulldog (massively popular and fashionable breed these days, clever of Lego), AND a baguette. The stereotypical Frenchman is a bonus.
  22. Zombie brick suit guy Skater brick suit guy Cheerleader brick suit ...
  23. Costume party sounds interesting. I'm assuming like with the Monsters theme that this will be a broad interpretation of costumes, rather than just the 'animal' (and now food) ones that are a CMF subtheme though. And this will be a way of getting us figures and parts we might not normally get otherwise. So he goes my stab 1. Dragon costume (seems a reuse of lizard head piece / tail and the gargoyle wings would be ideal) 2. Horse suit (recolour of unicorn head) 3. Lobster suit 4. Parrot suit (I feel the chicken feather arms are overdue a reuse) 5. Angel (I'm thinking kid in a nativity style costume is the way to get us this, opposite to li'l devil too) 6. Shepherd (as above, kid in nativity costume - hopefully with sheep or goat accessory) 7. Lego brick costume 8. Pizza suit 9. 'Zorro' costume 10. 'Phantom of the opera' costume 11. 'Carmen Miranda' carnival style costume (fruity headpiece, reuse chicken wings or different ornate arm piece) 12. Ladybird/ladybug costume 13. Fish costume 14. Lion costume 15. 'Tin man' costume 16. Elizabethan woman
