  1. Nice little build Gideon, the sand green looks remarkably good along with the white, and I like the fruit on the plate there The build does seem to be missing a little something to really make it pop though (not including the beard! ), but I can't quite put my finger on what that would be. It certainly isn't the photography anyways!
  2. Thanks Vlad! Thanks SK! I just stuck about as many teeth in there as would fit!
  3. Ha, ha, thanks Puvel! I don't think I would either! Thanks Kai! I was really happy with how the ice turned out! Thanks a lot Kayne! And glad to see you around again!
  4. Excellent outrigger Gideon, great use of that sail, and the water is really lovely as well! The polished look of the build overall is very nice too, although I do agree with Bregir that a slight tilt of the canoe would improve it
  5. Ha, ha, thanks LJ, glad you like it! Thanks to both of you!
  6. Thanks Gunman! Here's a category B entry from me:
  7. Sorry, just those last two posts being in a row is quite hilarious!
  8. Another fearsome creature from the Frozen Beyond! Inspired by - well, let's see if anyone can guess! Top view: This was quite some fun to build, thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  9. Excellent job here Sir Stig, the spinning penny () is excellent, and I'm really liking the windows and colors on the factory as well! As Capt. Wolf mentioned, the studded red roof looks remarkably good too
  10. Very nice ship Puvel, I like the rounded hull, color-scheme, and the number of cannons, although I do think the railing in the front could be curved a bit more smoothly (maybe by getting rid of the first telescope on the outside line?) Those sails don't look too bad either, and the SNOTted tiles on the side are superb I approve!
  11. Very nice work here, the lighting suits a night escape excellently! As everyone probably knows, I love the dark red and white color-scheme of the fort, but the hole in the wall is great as well! It seems to be a good thing that the Oleon soldiers are distracted though, since otherwise it appears they were about to blow your boat out of the water! The knives have appeared in various Ninjago sets, the one coming to mind right now is Destiny's Bounty, though I'm sure they come in some smaller ones as well
  12. Very nice house Cap'in Wolf, the exterior is quite nice, the tan goes well with the white, and the chimney and roof are excellent as well. Good job including a polished interior too, and the goat and chicken with their fence are some nice details outside (I'm supposing that the goat ate all the texture on the lawn outside, eh? )
  13. Awesome build Gideon, those vultures are excellent, and I really like your camel packs as well! Plus the tree and landscape are superb too - and I must say I'm quite surprised that the other guilds aren't simply delighted that they get to taste some of our fantastic weather!
  14. Excellent builds BrickCurve, the vegetation is superb, especially in your first one, and the rock-work and tower are really nice as well - loving those rock-stairs!
  15. Thanks all! Thank you, glad you like it! Thanks SK! Yes, I envisioned that that would be a pretty tough job for them! Thanks Puvel! The interior certainly took the most time... but most of that time was just trying to get around to it!
  16. Excellent though sad build Franco, the lighting and foam work very well, and the hazy aspect really helps as well! Looking forward to even mightier ships coming to replace this one!
  17. Very nice quay Captain Genaro, all the activity lend life to the scene, and as others have mentioned, the brown roofed building in particular is great! A couple of suggestions would be to tile off the tops of the other two roofs and to include a bit more variation in the dark red building, especially on the second story which is a bit flat right now. I'm looking forward to Captain G's journey to the new world soon!
  18. Very nice build Captain B, love those colors and roof technique, so you couldn't go far wrong! I do agree with kabel that a white background would improve the presentation and be less distracting, and the roof could use some tiles at the end, but despite that this is one of my favorite of your builds yet!
  19. Paid out! Here's the confirmation that I have the DBs necessary (didn't post it before, so here you go ) Intro - 25DBs Freebuild 1 - 10DBs ETWC pay - 25DBs
  20. Excellent ship Ved, it was great before, but those extra sails certainly improve the look (not to mention the swivel guns )!
  21. You've done a pretty good job explaining the dueling rules, except that there is no voting involved (that is what the judges are for!) Also, you will probably each need to wager at least 2 DBs on the outcome - the loser will receive 2 DBs for participating, but the winner only takes the wager, so the way you have it right now it would be more profitable to lose! ) Furthermore, I'm a bit confused about the fee on the bets? That would be quite complicated and I don't really think the duelists have any right to charge a fee from the betters! I'll leave the final decision on that head to Ska though
  22. Thanks all! Thanks Simon! Ha, ha, yes, that was mostly because I wanted to use those light-trans-blue tiles, and I didn't have any in trans-clear either! The excuse was that it was the water below that gave it the bluish tint, but you are right about that As to the Ninjago hats, if you ever use them as plates like this, make sure to leave a stud hole in the table, otherwise they are impossible to stand up! Thanks a lot Elostirion, glad you like it! Thanks Kayne! Yes, those two parts went together even better than I had expected!
  23. Very nice build Khorne, the undergrowth is quite good, and the mood is set perfectly Henri's expression also looks quite appropriate for the situation!
