  1. Very nice ship Mike, the colors are great, and I really like your high fore and aft castles as well! Great detailing on the back cabin too! Myles Bowditch is interested in buying a share of the ship, and will discuss with the ETWC whether to buy the share for himself or on behalf of the company
  2. Ha, ha, alright! As for the table, you might want to try SNOTting it next time (that is by far the easiest way to get a curve in it and have the top remain flat) like this
  3. Excellent build Kai, love those wall colors, and the pull-out room is great as well! The tan base fits in very well too!
  4. A very nice method that! The ETWC is far more honorable and law-abiding than your spring-chicken apparently is! At least you've got a bit more peaceful guy for your leader. For business, gold, and wealth!
  5. Welcome to the East Trade Wind Company's Discussion Topic! Here’s where members sign up, organize transactions, vote on expenditures, and more. There will be certain strategic discussions that are kept private, but if you have any questions about the ETWC or the relative parts of the EGS, feel free to ask below! What is the ETWC? Almost since the beginning of its charter, the ETWC has been the most powerful trading company of Eslandola. It controls almost all the major Eslandolan Old World ports and Sir E.T. Wilkinson de Chauncourtois, the head of the company, saw to it that most of the High Council seats were filled with board members. Only recently has the company begun to make a more vigorous move toward strengthening colonization and trading in the New World, but once it has started there isn't much that would want to stand in its way! Why should I join the ETWC? You should join the East Trade Wind Company because it is the richest, biggest, and best company around! Plus, E. T. Wilkinson de Chauncourtois who leads it is just the right person to lead a company, and not some hot-headed young Guy. We also already ply the seas of the world's oceans and own most of Eslandola's old world. Lastly, we're simply the best! Furthermore, the ETWC has monopolies of wheat and oat plantations and on copper mines These monopolies translate into in-game economic benefits. The ETWC can provide protection to your property and open the way if you want to land a position as mayor or civil servant, or even a member of Eslandola’s High Council, if you show that kind of commitment! Plus, the ETWC provides a great setting for you to engage in the Monthly Commerce and Raiding Action along with like-minded Eslandian traders. 6. Very nice builds Ayrlego, I'm especially liking the landscaping and figs in the second one! For the other one I would advise trying to tile the top (and probably the table too), but the rest of the furniture and stuff is very good!
  7. What land would that be, An Holli or something? Ahem! We had a colony before you guys even had a charter! And you really should have joined the ETWC (how are you going to make apple-pie without our wheat? ) Apparently the ETWC has a monopoly on spelling too, eh?
  8. Very nice tower Sir Iron, excellent incorporation of that baseplate, and I'm delighted to see all those ETWC troops! Lots of nice little details packed in here, like the crate of bottles, the thieves getting their deserts, and the lanterns The build would be improved by some more tiles and finishing off though, and it would be nice to have an overview shot without part of the boat cut off. Welcome to Brethren of the Brick Seas!
  9. Welcome to Eslandola Sir Francisco Iron (and your bro ), glad to have you! If you're planning on joining a trade company, the East Trade Wind Company is by far the best!
  10. Thanks all! Thanks Steward! He was tired of all the frozen food he's been getting so he couldn't resist (that's another one of the Algus' weaknesses! ) Thanks a lot Titus, glad you like it! Thanks Faladrin, glad you like it! Yes, the huge trail of ice and snow seems to give them away usually! And did you notice the plate of apples, probably from some great-great grandfather of Felipe or something?
  11. Welcome to the Brethren of the Brick Seas Captain Allcock, very nice intro story and builds! About your question, you don't have to post it in a new topic, but these builds deserve it so you might as well!
  12. Some of ye old Algus are sweating it out on spy duty... always one of their weak points for some reason!
  13. Category A entry, Spy Duty
  14. Sometimes it's just plain hard to be a frozen beyonder... especially when you're on spy duty or something... They really have no idea why, but somehow their approach is always noticed and the're spotted... Oh well, there are some problems involved in carrying winter around in your back pocket! Nevertheless, Uridius is quite unconcerned (he's always unconcerned, for that matter!) Finally got the interior to this thing finished! This is my Category A entry to the Frozen Beyond contest, and was (minus the interior) an entry to CCCXIII's large miscellaneous - and yes, I know it doesn't stand much of a chance in that quarter, but it didn't fit anywhere else! Credit goes to SK for the awesome bridge design, thanks for viewing, C&C are always welcome!
  15. Very nice crop and reapers Kai, and the purple and black base looks great here as well!
  16. Excellent build, really nice color-scheme, and the terrain is superb as well! Looks like quite a relaxing place - if you can stand the Kaliphlin sun's heat!
  17. Excellent build LJ, very fitting building and landscaping for Kaliphlin! The color-scheme is very nice, and the windows and shade over the front door are great as well! Glad to see a mummy that has seen the light!
  18. Beautiful MoC Vincent, very nice work with the exterior of the mansion and the landscaping, and the fountain and carriage are excellent as well! However, what really stands out here is that interior - you've got loads of awesome details in there, and the overall cleanness of the inside is really delightful! Loving all the furniture, and that painting (is that actual forced perspective, or did you use a sticker or something? I'd really like to know how you did that!)! We'd love to have you over in Brethren of the Brick Seas (particularly in Eslandola! )
  19. Great swamp and landscape, and very funny story Puvel, excellent job all around! The purple border actually looks rather good here as well!
  20. Excellent build Mike, great landscape - especially the cacti! - and another awesome carriage! Is that going to be the collab's trademark or something?
  21. Very nice build Kai, especially with the carriage - that first shot is excellent! Looking forward to more of this story too!
  22. Very nice build Kai, those windows are excellent, and the brown tiled floor and furniture is great as well! Plus of course I'm happy to see the DK going down!
  23. Lovely fort Titus, certainly my favorite of you pirate builds yet! Great use of that wall technique, and you rock-work has been improving a lot as well! The door and cut-away back are very nice as well, and the flag doesn't look bad either - if it is that of a rival company! Approved!
  24. Very nice ships Franko Clarke, the pirate probably being my favorite - though the Eslandolan one clearly has the coolest color-scheme!
  25. Very nice beach Puvel, great job with the terrain and water elevation changes, it really gives the build a much more natural feel! The bits of vegetation and the trans-green in the water actually is quite good as well!
