  1. Well, with Lincoln and Shakespeare being historical figures you can use the name (but this would also apply to Cleopatra). Sherlock is a fictional character (who has got the rights?) and might not appear by name due to legal reasons. Red Riding Hood is a fictional character too. Brothers Grimm have long since gone... I don't know why they named her "grandma visitor". That was my attempt to give an answer. Strangely it leads to more questions ....
  2. We are happy to have you! Welcome to Mitgardia!
  3. Thanks - I will be interested in new POTC sets coming out. However, I usually use yellow minifigs, so all of the heads and hands will be discarded... But it is a long time until 2017!
  4. Fine, the city is growing. This is already more than just a supermarket.
  5. Quite good - thanks for sharing after having kept us in suspense Tower is excellent, water too - and the house-entrance is marvellous.
  6. Today!!! So today I got the junior pirate set (10679). It is actually ok and also usable for "non juniors" like me. What seems to be new (at least for me): - Pirate flag - Treasure map - Treasure chest in black - Pirate torso - A wall with an integrated window (so so) - A tan round brick (with a spare part in it). Not sure how to reuse that one. - A barrel in dark blueish grey - Red bandanna - A light green base plate It is the old pistol and the old saber. And the old fish. So far so good. And then they told me that the other sets would come in April (not March).
  7. Probably. I just found him very funny. The other soldiers are more serious. I got one more: The "redcoat support troops": The Highlanders were among my favourite Airfix soldiers, so I had to do some.
  8. The review is great, I am always referring to WhiteFang's reviews before I start buying a new minifig series! The series is also a very good one. Let's see what we can combine based on these new minifigs. What I also like this time is that there is no need to buy e.g. 20 of a certain figure (other example: I wanted to have many many Roman Soldiers, many many Independence War Soldiers, etc.) This will make the collecting more relaxed.
  9. The crash is well captured. I like this.
  10. That's cool. I did not really know what to expect from the MOC title, but this is cool! (although Thunderbirds are actually "before my time") Nice build and excellent pics!
  11. Don't get distracted - finish the supermarket ! Nice work - are post offices so small in Australia?
  12. Hi Zeev, that's a good bunch of cutthroats!
  13. Looks good and impressive! Any interior design planned?
  14. Yes, great work - I hope that some new models will come in additionally!
  15. Ok, it is a bit aside from the topic, but since you've asked: The Goblin is not so difficult to find, as you have three roundish things: head, hatpiece (with ears) and the bag. (and then the massive sword). It also seems that there are enough Goblins in a box.
  16. I hope you don't plan to sell your creations!
  17. Good freebuild - now is fine, rocks are fine.
  18. Impressive set... but I have so many old "Slaves" already...
  19. Thanks for showing how you do your pictures (envy! ) I think I need to invest some more in my non-lego equipment...
  20. Hrm (clears throat): MOC: Dunehill Castle / Captain Braunsfeld / Mitgardia Dwarven Attack Boats in Tradewind Bay / Captain Braunsfeld / Mitgardia
