  1. Fine figures for the armada. Yet I think my version is a future version of your minifigs... Some 200 years later.
  2. SkaForHire, you are making things difficult for me. Initially I thought that Eslandola could be interesting, but "merchants" are not so fascinating. And I understand that this is not the place for the good old Spanish guys. And some people allegedly don't like morions. So, science, navigation and fast ships are the next great thing on the list. Sadly, they are linked to the wrong colour. This means I'll have to settle with fortresses and warships - which is good - but combined with faith (= the blueish inquisition???) it seems a bit strange. Pirates? I am more of a "regular army type of person". So what shall I do? Go for colour preference = blue. But it would be great to work with Maxim I on a joint topic... And where will I be able to include monkeys? Long story short: I am a bit lost, but I would like the project to go through.
  3. Ahoy, fellow captain. I took the liberty to include one of your pics directly in your post. Looks good! Brick on!
  4. Fine ship with a great gallion and nice lanterns at the back and custom guns (I think Kurigan explained that the term has to be "gun"). You also seem to have a motivated and happy crew - the torso on the right, where is it from?
  5. The ship has turned out really fine. A great model and a great source of inspiration. Next on your list: How to take better pictures! Honestly, you should add 1-2 pics of the final model (or create a new post for it so the update does not get overlooked).
  6. Ah, it was noticed Yepp I am done with brick-built ships until end of March 2015 and am currently stuck in the LDDs. And....in the end... on the horizon... there will be ... THE INDEX!!!
  7. Looks promising to me. Looking forward to May then!
  8. Perfect and beautiful. Unaffordable though, but definitely well designed.
  9. Pace is really high. Maybe too high. It seems to me that a growing number of participants are getting stressed. That is actually not what I want to see in a community of lego builders...
  10. A micro build indeed. Clever idea!
  11. Impressive. What can I say? Gigantic build, extremely well crafted! Got any bricks left?
  12. "best sand" is off? That's what I was hoping for... "Traverser of the Great Sands" that would have been a title... I am a bit worried about the imbalance in builds too. It seems the High Council is in need for support although they have the highest number of registered supporters (and great builders among them). On the other hand, since I have taken a side, it's obvious: DK rules!
  13. Ah, I had not seen the update to the original WIP post. Fantastic. I am already awaiting your next MOC
  14. Wow this is fantastic. Beautiful and completely in your own style. Great! I love all the details and will immediately scrap my island fortress (or maybe not). How long did it take to complete this masterpiece? Attacking monkey is noted !! +1
  15. Fine alternate build. But I would not include the train only a horse carriage!
  16. I hope his loving wife will not leave him ... for he is a great artist - and so are you!
  17. That monster is terrific! But how are we supposed to pronounce its name?
  18. I agree - nice job on the different fire effects. Quite good mages!
  19. This seems to be a very powerful council of mages. Good work!
  20. That is a good idea, Lord Dan. How come that one of them is holding a dagger while shurikens are stuck in the wall? Nevermind.
  21. Great design, fine choice of colours and perspective! ... and very funny.
  22. Nice microbuild indeed. I like the towers. As to the perspective: I think the best angle to shoot the figures in the foreground has yet to be found. Picture 1 is close. Would you want to give it one more try?
  23. ... well for the soldier this is not the best place to be in... But Kai NRG - I was counting on your support for my UoP claims... We will find out about the importance of that patch of sand. This could be a turning point in the overall crisis!
  24. Everybody is doing excellent sandworms these days - did I miss something?
