  1. This has a very classic feel to it, which is alway very much appreciated. Skeleton and treasure are also fine. Parrots and islanders are noted, however: monkey seems to be missing!
  2. Black tricorne also looks fine. I happened to run out of black tricornes with white rim and then I found the tan tricornes... And right: The torso could also work for a merchant, etc.
  3. Your guys are pretty busy in this scene. Do I see a brick forge "city watch" helmet?
  4. I agree - excellent forced perspective, build and photography!
  5. Floor, arch and battle scene are pretty fine!
  6. A very impressive entry in every way - water/fortress/army, etc.
  7. Nice build. Initially I thought it was deserted (well, it's a Desert Outpost) but then I saw the minifigs. Just one thought: The camel would have looked good outside of the Outpost.
  8. What a nice and huge building - with a fascinating garden too!
  9. Nice twist in story - well reflected in the pictures. (Song playing: "Turn to Stone" - Electric Light Orchestra)
  10. I forgot to mention my entry here: WZ5:I10, Desert King] Guarding the Desert For the Desert King.
  11. Charming - reminds me of old Airfix sets I never could afford... Nice work on the interior too!
  12. Shouldn't you blush when you write those things? @Dr_Spock: Kolonialbeamter is, of course, absolutely right in what he is saying. To do "ätsch bätsch" properly, you will have to go to university and become a doctor.... Pronounciation: "etch betch"
  13. .. that parrot has been insulting me for an hour ...
  14. Hello Eldiano. Although the review is fine and you have memories related to that set please have in mind that the post you were replying to was in fact some 7 years old. This is what we call "bumping of old topics" and it shouldn't be done. You might want to take a look at our FAQ: Posting tip

  16. Thanks - I hope I did. Thank you, that is a lot of trust.
  17. Yepp - a famous Spanish torso. I usually keep them for minifigs that look very Spanish - the above greencoats are a bit different to me.
  18. Thanks! Happy to see it was noticed. Yepp, sweating - what would we do being in that situation?
  19. Great sandworm! There seems to be a reference in there to some movie which I am probably missing.
  20. Nice sand and an intersting animal to ride - what is it?
  21. Cool. Congrats. It is Kolonialbeamter... I think I have heard about him before.. Isn't he posting monkey MOCs all the time?
  22. Fine build - I like that dark green swampy thing with those bubbles! I must try something like that myself.
  23. Thanks everyone! Several answers: a) I have already used the dark green one for "Dunehill Castle" b) To me it adds a bit of "day of the tentacle" feeling to the scene The landscape would probably work out fine without the cactus...
