  1. Great - I like the ornamental golden dragons!
  2. Trouble at the index, Sir

  3. My WZ 5 entry: A weary Desert King soldier guarding an important piece of the desert: ... while the sun is beating down on him ... I would like to claim UoP credits for: Landscape Design - sand dunes Geography - desert ... the lonely guard in the desert... I'm picking D2 as the next WZ if I win.
  4. Very good. I like the landscape - and the sand worm is terrific!
  5. Very fine Micro Mines! (dwarf is good!) However, the pictures do not have to be micro themselves. Pls check out Posting deeplinked images from Brickshelf Posting pictures from Flickr on Eurobricks
  6. "almost cute" - happy Easter!
  7. Not bad, not bad at all! And it is a bluecoat ship - very good! I agree to the comment about the third mast. A small one.
  8. Cool design - must be a fast running ship.
  9. Thanks a lot. Yes, Baldur's Gate was excellent, but it did not consciously have it in mind.
  10. I started with the usual 4 walls (lifting the different levels) but in the end you don't really get to the lower levels. Playability improves when you leave the back open. The castle in my signature is using 3 walls.
  11. Very nice - let us have more sea battles!
  12. 163. 164. 165. 166. 167. 168. 169. 170. 171. 172. 173. 174. 175. 176.
  13. Great classic alternatives. I love classic space - thanks for bringing it on again!
  14. Great crew - I like Tricky Jones.
  15. Hello Space-Travellers! The MOC I will present today was built some time back together with my children, who wanted to have a model of the USS Enterprise to play with: So we decided to re-use an old Millenium Falcon to build the main part of the space ship: We managed to get the basic shape alright, but in terms of stability the ship was a nightmare... The weight of the main part was a challenge. The ship was supposed to be able to stand on the ground without tipping over. (Don't worry, I'll show the crew in a later post) As counterbalance the back of the ship also had to become heavy. I.e. I had to use as many bricks as possible to add weight. (And this is why it does not look so good...) The front part of the ship could be separated from the back as you can see by means of technic bricks. That was reasonably stable. A lot of SNOT technique was used for the engine room. There was also room for a small shuttle: So, for a while, my kids were happy (and I had actually dreamt of a playable Enterprise since I was a kid myself). However, after a while I felt I had to redesign the ship because of the mechanical strain on several parts of the construction. (And I did not like the drives). This is why what I present to you is actually no more. Yet I thought it was worth while presenting (even if it has a kind of "this is not how to do it"-idea to it) as my 2000th post in this forum. Thanks for watching!
  16. Welcome to Eurobricks!
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks, mijnheer!
  18. They look great! I think that bayonets are an essential part of soldiers of that time. It just seems that TLG shies away from them (or maybe they are too pointed and therefore unsuitable for small children, etc.) Pity is that I have run out of bayonets... and shipments from US take ages (or get stuck at customs).
  19. Good work on those classic sets. Three posts in one day is not a bad start at all BTW: pics may be a bit larger (800 x 600 is usually fine). What do you use as blue background?
  20. Another good modification (and I like the pics on flickr). A suggestion for improvement: The section around the guns is now pretty much black. You might want to add another colour to lighten it up (maybe continue a streak of yellow which is already a decorative element on the ship). Brick on! (Just thinking that we should rename your post to "MOD" instead of "MOC")
  21. Hey, that is a good start of yours in this forum. And you have done a nice job in modifying this classic ship. (Just thinking that we should rename your post to "MOD" instead of "MOC") Brick on!
  22. Wow, that is quite extraordinary. Well done both storyline and MOC!
