REVIEW: 71007 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12
egg roller replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm sooo happy there isn't a cop in this line. I don't feel around on the bags (too impatient) and end up with tons of cops. Hooray!- 156 replies

Any redux in the theme I feel is great. I wouldn't want to accept anything in the beggars can't be choosers mold, but I'm happy at the news. We really know next to nothing. We know set prices and names and one person's opinion on a vague witnessing of said sets. Plus the figs may be outstanding.

That's really cool. The last poster had good ideas. If that's feasible, it could only add to your design and perhaps make it more appealing to lego. Best of luck you!

Ch II: DG Collab: Cat C: Defending the Coast
egg roller replied to Kayne's topic in Guilds of Historica
I really could't like this build any more than I do. At the risk of sounding super original, I love the broken arch. Is that a monorail piece? Very inspiring work!- 39 replies

I think your pics turned out pretty darn good for being a phone camera!

Hello fellow Eurobrickers. I have been a member here for a while but only recently started posting a little bit. I love seeing how creative so many of you are and aspire to increase my building, photographing, and editing skills. Happy building.

I think the kid is sort of hypnotizing. I mean, I can't look away it's so bad. I always laughed to myself thinking about what that photo shoot was like. What did they have that kid saying for the pics? Stupid kid.

With the blue 1x2 bricks standing on end and not connected to anything, are those sections able to be pulled out of the structure? Do you know what I mean? Can't wait to check out your index!

Would someone tell me what the 3-4-5 distribution is that we seem to be happy about? I couldn't find it in the posts. Thanks- 118 replies

Got super cycle chase. This set is great! I love the robo figs and the cop car is crazy chunky. It feels like a solid built truck that I'd have for one of my sons. The cycle is super swooshable. Great set.

The overgrown vines are great as well as the cut out windows. In #2, im with Socceroos (autocorrect for soccerkid! Too good to change) the hedge is awesome.

Really nice! I really like the different colors youve used that we dont always see in castle mocs.

Lego Hobbit Video Game Exclusive Minifigure Announced
egg roller replied to mrfootball's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Would someone explain to me about arm printing making the arms a different plastic? Ive heard this referenced before without explanation. Thanks! -
Agreed. While the torso print is sorta fun in a vacuum, they could have gone with a more imaginative fig. Look at the exclusive for the lego movie, I think that one is pretty creative and fun. Oh well, not a huge deal and its something real to talk about.

MOC: 007 James Bond & Bond Girls
egg roller replied to LEGO Train 12 Volts's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Really fun figs you made here. I think you captured those 3 bonds nicely as well as the bond girls. 007 would be absolutely ideal for lego with all the vehicles, gadgets, and characters!! Too bad for subject matter.....:( Whoa. Just realized this is a super old thread! Lol -
Nothing really wrong here, it's just a part of speech. People say things like "he practically had a heart attack" about all sorts of things and other such examples. Something will always be personal to someone. Best to let it slide and not to show your age. Sorry in advance moderators, I shouldn't moderate. :)

Got it. Thanks that clears it up.

Is there an appeal of the Legolas poly that I'm missing? I google'd it and it appears to be a super generic torso that we all have and with Legolas head and hair. Paired with a simple handful of bricks. What am I missing here? If this is what it is, then who cares where it's available? That's not meant to sound as sarcastic as it looks typed out :)

What is that screen from?

Yes, I agree with you here. TLG needs happy customers to sell their sets, but this part of Faefrost's post I think is relevent as well: I think their choices in sets to make involve a complex decision-making system and both what you say and he said go into. If we, hobbit and LOTR-loving fans, create a big enough voice and move their bottom line enough, I think we have a better chance of our wants being heard. Or something, I dunno. LOL

Which is Your Favorite Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug Set?

Laketown for me too. I enjoy the figs, I think the brick built sail is clever, and the fish shields are really cool.- 54 replies

I agree with all of what faefrost wrote. It isn't as fun to think of tlg as a business with a bottom line, but as frost outlined, they serve other powers. BUT, we have seen nothing of the coming wave. It might be awesome.
