  1. A zip line? Does it simply use string, or is it brick-built? Also, the idea of the car transforming into a tank-like vehicle is interesting, and sure increases my interest in that set.
  2. Well, this one looks like a prototype, as you intended. The use of Bionicle pieces helps this slightly. On a similar note, the build is slightly less generic than the other MOC, which helps it to stand out. Overall, this is a medium quality MOC.
  3. Yup, those things sound awesome. Hopefully they have axles, instead of the horrible axle holes that made later Bionicle masks fall off every five minutes. If they do, I have a starting point for a HF plant monster (a la Biollante).
  4. I don't like the Laval design at all. It has a certain quality that makes me think of drawings made with crayons and fingerpainting. The Saber looks quite imposing and interesting, however, partially decomposed and partially ice CHI-ified.
  5. Holy obscenity XPlode looks badass with yellow. I might try to remake Meltdown with the same style later.
  6. Quite nice, and a definite and significant improvement over the older versions.
  7. It looks quite nice, but like most HF MOCs, it's a rather generic design. It does evoke the Jaeger Mech aesthetic perfectly, however.
  8. Ah, thirty-five euros, a nice and reasonable price, and one that will still allow me to buy about three of them.
  9. Yes! New Nya fig. Also, is the X-1 Charger closer to the sleek style of the jet, or more like the grittier look of Nya's Mech?
  10. Quite a nice and complex body structure, from the looks of it. I'm not sure the color orange is the best choice for his spikes, how does he look with those in yellow?
  11. Even though he created the Great Devourer, I doubt his plan at the time was anything beyond "wreck stuff". Most of his plots seem to have succeeded only because of dumb luck.
  12. Not just cynical, often it's just plain underappreciative of sets.
  13. The earlier picture of the new Jumper looks very bright (considering the shades are exactly that of two already existing parts), supporting the argument that those parts are mixed with GitD.
  14. Some of these sets used techniques that I myself had to discover for myself later (no polybags in the Netherlands). I used the simple matoran design of 4514401 for years. And what are your reasons for critiquing these sets as if they were full-size ones in the first place? I'd like to know why.
  15. Dragon Bolt, although all of the Invasion From Below sets are moving towards that spot. I predict Dragon Bolt to be overtaken by the Kaiju Queen when it comes out.
  16. Actually, you can see quite a few general traits of the AT-AT-ish set in the prelims we've gotten. Then again, you said more details, so you may have already seen them.
  17. Am I the only person (besides Aanchir) who knows that "(Evil) Overlord" is a popular cliche in supervillain titles, probably where the OverLord got his name and generally used to refer to the mastermind of an operation? Speaking of which, am I the only one who hopes that the OverLord will become a slightly more impressive villain? So far he's pulled of no complex plans and has merely used brute force. Even him lying to Garmadon is a pretty easy plan, as Garmadon can't see an obvious trope if it spinjitzu'd him into a wall.
  18. Some feature which moves bits of scenery around in a circular pattern or draws them to a central point, I assume.
  19. I was looking through the minifig body parts list only yesterday, don't know how I managed to miss that application. As it is, it's an absolute NPU.
  20. Next wave ideas: chitinous mountainbikes (for insect-themed villains), a velociraptor-themed tank or a fish-like helicopter. That's more or less the standard Ninjago has to uphold.
  21. I like the idea of GitD pieces in HF. Especially for an underground theme, where bioluminescence makes sense. Also, while rather simple-looking (probably out of necessity), that mecha looks like it fits the hero quite well. I like your other mecha, although they're more hard-suits than actual mecha. Also, finished my Jaw Beast mod. It's now Tail Beast, using it's tail like a mace.
  22. Hell yeah, transforming mecha Phoenix-castle. Also, nice to hear the Mammoth walker is indeed like an AT-AT. Boy, I was spot on for once.
  23. I've done sillier things. For a month or so, I thought Brutaka was some sort of undercover codename Lhikan used. No joke.
  24. Presumably they meant "generic evil overlord" rather than "god of evil, Ninjago". But I really hope the "Tremor Tracks" set includes a technic tremor feature.
  25. !!YESSSSSS!!! *Fanboy moment over* I'm wondering how they'll keep up the reputation of insanity Ninjago has built up.
